Default importing a link to an ad on Backpage?

I am new to the site and I can not figure out how to import links for ads from the KC Back page so I can ask a question about a specific provider and show the ad I am talking about. I see other do it all the time.

Same question (maybe same answer) how do I import links from ads on the back page when I do a review? Thanks so much.

The icon with the earth and the link will open up a box for you to paste the link in when you click it. If you want the code for it "[URL="sdfsdf"]sdfsdf[/URL.]" it looks like that without the period

I just copy the url and place it in the message. Also, with BP, you have to edit out the ad heading.

for example:
h.ttp://kc.backpage.com/TherapeuticMassage/winter-specials/5774427

becomes:
h.ttp://kc.backpage.com/TherapeuticMassage/5774427

Note the removal of "winter-specials". I also had to add a period in the http so that it would show what I did rather than the link.

Here's what you get when just copying and pasting the second example:

http://kc.backpage.com/TherapeuticMassage/5774427

There's other "help" threads on here somewhere too, I think in a sticky thread
