I thought beauty pageants were a part of the patriarchy. So only Repubs would be a part of them, and Dems avoid them.
But here the organizers are Dems and refuse to allow a Repub?

don't know if she's republican. she's obviously conservative.
as far as pageants go, it used be that it didn't matter who was lib or conservative. the PCism has been trending for a few years in dribs and drabs. there were a few ladies who said the wrong thing and were forced to "apologize". none of them were ever stripped of their title as far as I know over politics. this is a first over something like that.
libs have taken over the institutions and using their rules to discriminate anyone who don't think like them.

She is a good representative of Michigan and should be reinstated.

You should look up the meaning of words first before using them in a sentence. Trump isn't a fascist and be glad he isn't, because the next president might be.

From what I gather her title being stripped was based on two events :
1. Refusing to wear a hijab and 2. pointing out the statistical fact that more blacks are killed by other blacks then are killed by the police.
Regarding number 1, anyone has a right not to wear any particular type of clothing, particularly one of such strong religious significance.
Number 2 can actually be viewed positively as pointing out that we are focusing on the wrong issues to solve a major problem in this country, the high number of urban youth that die by violence. To use a medical analogy, one must correctly identify the disease before prescribing the medicine.
