Whut?. Trump? Over the top? Nahhhh, never happen. What are the odds that he would do something brilliantly unexpected, blatantly in your face, yet tactfully refined? In your dreams maybe.

sf is desperately trying to convince itself that Biden wins.

Much like SR's insistence on 'polls"!
At least sf sees a little reality - the possibility of a Trump win.

The only poll that matters is Nov 3!

Default A grower, not a shower

Speaking of Vegas odds, I know some are poll watchers, while some are poll dancers. Nothing wrong with the latter. But sometimes, one should look at emerging data for trends, like his information from Ronna McDaniel:

Our data from the Duluth Rally shows @realDonaldTrump is still bringing in tons of new voters:

  • 60% of attendees were NOT Republican
  • 20.9% were Democrat
  • 17.2% did not vote in 2016
  • 8.4% have not voted in last 4 elections
Thank you, Minnesota!

You guys seem to miss that as an important point.
He squeaked out a very narrow plurality in a few key states that accorded him an electoral college victory.

It won't happen again. He obviously has a 42-44 % ceiling on his support.

The only way would be for him to pull some very over the top bullshit to discredit and challenge Biden and what role he played in discrediting Trump using our Intelligence services .Trump and his campaign already know and have accepted this. And that is what they are going to do.

At this point, I don't think absolute proof that Obama/ Biden colluded with Hillary to discredit Trump which is what Brennan, head of the CIA says the Russians were talking about, would stop many for still voting for Biden. In other words, corruption by Biden, would make no difference in their vote. The kind of corruption they blamed Trump for. Problem is, we have no idea whether Russia was being truthful in what they were reading in the Hillary/ DNC e-mails or they were using dis-information like the dossier was.

The DNI today released 1,000 pages of de-classified documents that doesn't look good for team Biden but like I said, would it even matter at this point? Would a scathing Durham report make a difference if we even see it in the next 4 weeks.

Now, imagine that after Biden is elected,God forbid, we find impeachable evidence against Biden either in his role in trying to discredit nominee Trump or newly elected Trump or all the corruption that went on with his son and brother. Wouldn't that be a hoot. But of course it wouldn't matter because a Democrat House wouldn't impeach Biden if he shot somebody on 5th Ave.

Get ready for Dems to protect Biden just like Republicans protect Trump. Nothing changes, just the names of the players.

You're right. Biden will win the popular vote and the electoral college vote. Biden will flip Penn, Mich and Wisc. Biden has greater than a 5 point lead in all three states. These are the only three states that Biden needs to flip to get to 270. If Biden flips Florida, that would be icing on the cake.

HF and SR are right on that ; just the names of the players change. And none of them have our interest at heart.

As I have posted before ; We are going to get the knife it's just a matter of whether we get it from the left or the right or maybe from both sides !

I saw a thing where a Republican official said unfortunately people are tired of Trump ; they don't want him in their living room anymore.

So it looks like there may be a changing of the guard.

Democrats sure as hell don't have my interest at heart. What is painfully obvious, is that many Democrats will be voting against their own best interests just to be rid of Trump because they don't like looking at or hearing him speak.

If you are tired of Trump coming into your living room, do what I do, use the mute, fast forward or on/off button but don't vote against your own best interest which was a fast improving economy pre Covid. Un-employment numbers not seen in 50 years. Starting an economic war if you will with China that is bound to bring jobs back to this country and if not to allies and slow down the rise of China which will hurt all of us in the long run.

Joe Biden doesn't even understand that China is our competitor and unlike Russia, an adversary that if left un-checked, could cripple us.

If one's biggest complaint is that they are tired of seeing and hearing Trump, tune him out but keep the benefits of him being President.

And if you are tired of seeing and hearing Trump, imagine what you are going to see and hear from Commala Harris. If one thing has become clear, most people don't like Commal Harris. That is why she couldn't compete in the primaries. People don't like Commala Harris so why trade one person you don't like for another you don't like with policies that will not benefit you economically?

Of all the many lies Joe and Commala are telling about "their plan", the biggest one is that nobody making less than $400,000 will be hurt by repealing all of Trump's 2017 tax plan but Democrats are so sort sighted, that taking back from the rich is more important than keeping what you got.

https://www.heritage.org/taxes/comme...e-middle-class

Tax Cut Repeal a Bad Deal for the Middle Class

Repealing the 2017 tax cuts would not just hurt the wealthy and corporations. It would also leave middle-class Americans tens of thousands of dollars poorer.
Reversing the tax cuts would cost the typical American worker $26,900 over the following 10 years. And families would be hit even harder: A family of four would lose, on average, $45,700 in take-home pay over the same period.

Those leading the charge against the tax cuts would have you believe it will only affect the rich. But repealing the tax cuts would hit the heart of Middle America.
Former Vice President Joe Biden has now called for a repeal of the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act six times. His latest proposal is to use the higher taxes to pay for his climate change plan, which in key ways resembles the Green New Deal. Others want to overturn the tax cuts to serve their pet causes. For example, Rep. Rosa DeLauro, D-Conn., proposes to undo the tax cut to help pay for an astronomically expensive Medicare for all proposal.

These proposals would hike taxes on middle-class Americans as well as businesses. Not only would most taxpaying families see more of their paycheck going to Washington, but most businesses would need to dial back plans to raise wages and add jobs and many would have to cut back in both areas.
Right now, Americans are using their higher take-home pay for things like college tuition, a down payment on a house, or to cover the costs of starting a family. Repealing the tax cuts would take their money away and limit their future economic opportunity.

It would also hurt citizens in both of Biden's backyards: his birth state of Pennsylvania and his home state of Delaware. Based on IRS data, The Heritage Foundation estimates that the average Pennsylvania and Delaware resident would lose nearly $20,000 if Biden has his way.

In fact, the data show that Americans in every congressional district would be worse off.

It is shameful that a simple soundbite "Trump's tax cut for the rich" has eclipsed the truth. The tax cuts are benefiting Americans at every income level. Even some of the poorest congressional districts have received upwards of 20% income tax cuts.

Repealing the tax cuts wouldn't just mean sending more of your earnings to the IRS. It would also slow the economy, which would mean lost wage growth in the coming years.

New investment is the lifeblood of a growing economy. When businesses invest, they also add jobs, increase productivity, and bring new products to market.
An important part of tax reform was to lower the corporate income tax rate to 21%. This is not a giveaway to investors. Sure, they benefit, but so does every single worker who is now able to find a job and pull a higher wage.

Before tax reform, the U.S. had the highest corporate tax rate in the world. Because of that, businesses chose to invest in foreign workers and foreign firms over those in the U.S. The newly lowered corporate tax rate, and new rules for immediate expensing (which encourage greater investment), have reversed that trend.
Unemployment is at historic lows, there are more job openings than people looking for work, and wages have grown above 3% for 10 straight months.
Even if repeal efforts fail, the 2017 tax cuts are not safe indefinitely. The most pro-growth provisions begin to expire in three short years. Lawmakers should be working to control the growth rate of spending so that the tax cuts can be made permanent in a fiscally responsible way.

Full repeal of the tax cuts would lead to fewer jobs, lower wages, and less opportunity for Americans who need it most.

Pro-growth policies have helped bolster the good economic times, it is imperative to build on the successes of the 2017 tax cuts so that taxes stay low on all Americans and their employers.

Look at all the posts on this board from the left and try and find anything, any talk at all about how voting for Biden will improve their lives economically. Where do you see any discussion of policies from the left? Find somebody, anybody that has made a detailed post on any Biden plan and how it will benefit them. Every single post is "I hate Donald Trump and want him gone no matter how it will affect me or the country economically and strategically".

So you think Trump failed Covid wise. Where is the evidence that Biden will do better? I've posted a number of times the articles of how Biden handled H1N1 and the consensus was that he got lucky because according to his chief of staff, they did everything wrong and it was only because "their virus" was much less lethal than Covid. Look it up, don't take my word for it. If you truly believe that Biden will do better than Trump moving forward, that's one thing but the Biden plan, as Pence reiterated last night, is nothing but a plagiarized version of what Trump is doing and will do. There isn't a single thing in the Biden plan that isn't proposed in the Trump plan. Not one damn thing.

I truly believe we be better off with Biden on many fronts. Some policy wise and some just on restoring some presidential calm to the picture.Which I think has some importance.

There is just too much Trump ! Trump Trump Trump Tweet Tweet Tweet !
Too much !

Policy wise ; I don't believe in that "Trickle Down" shit.I don't believe that by taxing high earners and corporations a little more that the economy will slow down and crash. And actually the increase put forth by Biden will mostly just restore the rates to previous levels that had done fine for years.

On another front not intended to be confrontational ; If Trump and his China policy is so great with the tariffs and all ; Why is our Trade Deficit at the 3rd highest of all time ?
