It sounds like you're talking about the Vaginal Rugae. It's prominant during a women's child bearing years. Helps to alleviate the possibility of the vaginal wall tearing during child birth.

I am more inclined to take a womens opinion on this. Do you believe only the clitoris and breasts are points of stimulation?

I think the question of its existence is still up in the air with varying results but many women claim its existence and others just have no extra feeling in that area. It may be a sexual placebo but it seems to work for some women.

I have read the "literature" and I didn't get a sense that there was a clear consensus among the sexologist if the Grafenberg spot exists.

I know from personal and anecdotal experience that if you rub that roughened textured area with your finger tips you will produce orgasms of some power, and occasionally some squirting. These orgasms seem different than orgasms produced from simple digital manipulation and probing.

The scientists also tell me that glucosomine doesn't help maintain joints, but I know that my knees are much better after 10 years of glucosomine use than before.
