I guess its because I just don't feel comfortable doing FIV out of fear that a nail will be sharp. Besides, I'd say most woman prefer DATY over FIV anyway.

As a big daty fan there's some great info here esp trimmed nails and don't use fingers as a speculum. But I've always gotten good results using fingers gently to allow better tongue access. Your tongue & her wetness should be doing the work. Fingers should only gently allow better labia access.

Of course, face sitting takes away that temptation to use fingers and lets her move and set a tempo which I prefer anyway. Nothing like getting direct feedback.
