I am so tired of reading BP and Eccie ads of providers that try to use Stupid tactics to make people think that they are not African American. I mean have the rest of you seen the ads and the lengths that some providers go to make customers think that they are a "mix", "black/Asian", "black/puertorican", "black/Hawaiian"


They ever alter the pictures to
Make guys think they are more white or light skinned African American than they really are.

I say quit the fake advertising call yourself a African American and be done with it.

I haven't met the girl, but if she really is partially Asian, what's wrong w/saying so in her ad? I have no problem w/the description "juicy curvy Asian ebony." Maybe I'm the target audience & y'all aren't: if so, it works b/c I like it & her pics.

I cannot stand the "duck-face" pics. either: fortunately, this ad doesn't seem to have any.

I have also met several women, some from ECCIE, who could EASILY be called, "Petite w/super booty."

There are so few asians so I always click on the link......and that is not an asian. They may have asian ancestors somewhere in their lineage, but they don't have the asian sterotypical characteristics that I am looking for.


I don't mind the duck face photos as much as the random pictures of body parts. Especially when you have to look at it for a second and decide "Is that an armpit, a knee, or someone's really fucked up ass?"

Wow: I thought it was just ME who couldn't identify those body parts & I didn't want to say anything b/c I figured it was obvious to everyone else. I have to admit to being somewhat relieved...

I have that "face blindness" thing they write about too--if I see someone out-of-context, even if I know them well, it might take several minutes to recognize them. If a girl totally changes her hair & make-up? I will not recognize her. On one hand, this presents OBVIOUS social problems; OTOH, if I see a provider regularly, she has no trouble keeping it interesting for me merely by changing a couple of things...

I saw one girl in Northern VA who advertised as half-Caucasian half-Asian. In her pics. she just looked brunette. In person, she was obviously partially-Asian. Sometimes you have to see them in person & the camera doesn't capture it. Or they could just be BS'ing...

They do that because some guys have a problem with seeing AA girls and they think it will get them more customers. Some also have self esteem issues and try to identify with other races. It's a phenomenon that has been going on in the AA community for years back to the slavery period. Entire books and college courses have been dedicated to it.
