Any thoughts about prevalence of sti/std in the hobby. Am kind of new at this.

Same man. Thought I gave something to the wife... panicked, spent $200 on a test, came up clean. Turned out to be a yeast infection conveniently timed for when symptoms would have shown up if i passed her anything.

Obviously if you put your private parts with anyone else's private parts, there's a chance of getting something. However, I can tell you from personal experience, you can get tested and treated for free if you do have an STD/STI.

I go every 6 months whether I need it or not and they tell you immediately if you have an STD/STI and will treat you on the spot. Some of those places that charge $200 have to send off to a lab and you need to wait 5-7 business days.

Fully endorse this as well. I’m a nervous fucker with this stuff. I use condoms and keep testing the ACHD.

Question: When you guys go to these places, do you need to provide insurance information or anything else that can possibly be traced back to your real world.
I would rather go these places and be anonymous. Is that possible?

I didn’t need to provide insurance information but they need some RL information. I am not sure you can go completely anonymous

If you don't mind spending a bit of $, there are the At-Home kits, where you do the finger stick & urine sample at home, then mail it in.

actually there are kits that not only do you do at home on your own, the kits give you the results also, no need to send anywhere

these have been available in Europe for years

I have gone to some of those emergency places in the past. I've even gone past steubenville to be as anonymous as possible. I have insurance but I tell them I'll just pay with a credit card. Most will test you and make you wait for results, but I have had luck on occasion where they will prescribe meds even without the results. Usually a shot in the ass and a Z-pack prescription. Last time I went I was sure that I had something but surprisingly the test came back negative.

Your information given to Achd is pretty safe from being distributed or released. Given that it's electronically held I guess one should never say never
