Jaco pronounced (Haco)

I had such high hopes for this place. I took a friend with me to jaco from San Jose to "see the thousands of beautiful women" I had heard about. I maybe saw 2?. He wanted to go to a strip club to "get his juices flowing". We walked in to a two drink minimum at Centerfolds gentleman club and saw one girl on the stage and two girls talking to what I assumed was a regular. The waiter took our drink order and we waited...and waited... I talked to our waiter and said where are all the chicas? He said not to worry as they will be coming soon... I've heard that before. Our bill was only $23 after the two drinks so we bailed as a portly girl started for the stage.

Next we went to the Hotel and Casino everybody talked about, Hotel and Casino Cocal. There were women there but a bunch and I mean a bunch of guys!
The quality of women there was on the older side of 35. With one or two younger women who were passable. It was so bad that after three passes and two imperial lites we went to the casino to loose some money. We won at the black jack table and things we're looking better. Another pass around the bar was just as sad... it was early, around 10 pm but seriously sparse pickings. We ended up taking a taxi back to our hotel around 11. I'm going to consider this a one and done place although I had a great meal at La Perla of sea bass poached in mango sauce. Jaco was a major disappointment for me but my friend had no idea what it should be and he even commented that the girls looked sad.

Was it Easter weekend? I was there during easter weekend and the lineup was the worse I've seen in both quality and quantity

If you were there during Easter week,this is not unusual.along with Christmas,worse time of the year. JS

Maybe it hadn't recovered from Easter weekend?

The fishing around there was good though. If more people have better luck and post it here I may try it one more time. The golf carts are fun and there were people on the street. Only 2 hrs from San Jose isn't bad but I would have preferred to go back to San Jose clubs. HDR being a slam dunk and venture out from there.

I was their 4-4 to 4-18, first part of the trip it was very busy and ticas everywhere. The last 5 or 6 days were dead.
