Laws and bans did not stop the terrorist attacks in france, laws and bans dont stop the cartels from damn near controlling a country, sure we can ban all fire arms and people will just move to making explosive devices. You can make all the laws and bans you want but you will never stop evil.

Always the Nazis calling for the banning of firearms.
Just another Nazi way of taking control of the people.
Who are their targets now?
It is the people that are in favor of smaller government.

I am sure some Republican will get with the Dems and work up a plan to confiscate law abiding citizens firearms. We know they all want to.

Yet many on the right want to make it harder for legal citizen to vote because of a few illegal votes?

Where is your consistency?

You gonna have easy access to guns, you are gonna have innocent citizens murdered.

Maybe the NRA should also take over the Voting Commission and make it easier for legal citizens to vote in this country , instead of harder like many of you want.

I'm for easy access to both guns and voting....are you? Or are you a hypocrite like many on both sides of the aisles are?

I for one would be perfectly content having voters meet exactly the same requirements to vote that gun buyers presently have to meet when buying a weapon ... but an ID without a background check would suffice.

How about restrictions on neither. You vote illegally and get caught , you go to jail. You buy a gun and illegally shoot someone, you go to jail.

But making it difficult for US citizens to vote because of a few bad apples is just as bad as making it difficult for a law abiding citizen to buy a gun because of a few bad apples.

How did he slip through the cracks to buy firearms legally? With his discharge it should have been denied like his app for a CC license.

agree.. I don't believe the arguments the people on each side make.. I think it's really about control, limiting people's access to their Constitutional rights. I'll throw in Abortion restrictions on Minors and Illegals in the same category, and the de-funding of Planned Parenthood.

I am hearing that it was an instance of "How do you stop a bad guy with a gun? A good guy with a gun!"

Here's the answer to this particular problem...

If that bastard had walked into this church, well, he'd better have had his shittin' pants on.

What would you have done?

Insulted him and called him a pig?

The problem here is simple. It is way too easy to obtain assault type weapons in this country.

They should be illegal. You need a gun (because you’ve got no dick or whatever) then get a gun. Just not those. Why is that such a fucking infringement on your right to kill others?

Yes...if you are a citizen, you should be able to buy a gun. The only people that should not have access to guns are those in jail but once you pay your debt to society, you should be able to buy a gun or vote.

I'm not sure why each side wants all these restrictions on citizens in good standing.

The answer to one gun is unrestrictive gun availability to all and the answer to one vote is unrestrictive voting for all.

Once you start with the restrictions....it just becomes a political football.
