He's actually a liberal playing a role. The whole political scene is nothing but a giant soap opera anyway.

Except the politics is a necessity. The other is entertainment.

Is that all you've got???

Trump promised coal workers they'd be getting their lost jobs back. However:

Source: http://www.npr.org/2017/06/02/531255...es-are-opening

"Still, despite this uptick, the industry isn't going back to its glory days of a few years ago, regardless of Trump's pro-coal policies, Stevenson says. He expects natural gas prices to fall and the shortage of met coal to ease. "The direction is downward," Stevenson says.

"There's not a whole lot a government can do to change economics, so we don't really expect a whole lot of change to the coal demand outlook from what any administration really can do," he says. "Most analysts would agree [Trump's pro-coal policies] are probably a case of slowing the decline [rather than generating] any real upside.""

Companies continue to move jobs overseas.

"In the first 100 days of the Trump administration, more than 270 separate companies applied for TAA benefits on behalf of more than 10,000 workers whose jobs are moving to another country.
CNNMoney's analysis shows that more than 4,000 of these jobs have moved out of the country since Trump took office. And nearly 2,000 additional jobs are due to be moved in the coming weeks and months. The rest of these job moves took place before Trump's term started, even though the petitions have just been filed. "

GM cutting 600 jobs.

Ford cutting about 20,000 jobs, 10% of its workforce.

At the Boeing factory where Trump made a wonderful speech talking about protecting jobs, 200 workers in S.C. are being laid off. About 500 jobs in Washington will be cut by Boeing.

Do you have a link where Trump says that the workers will be getting THEIR old jobs back or is that just editorializing from you. Jobs are being created at the same time other jobs are going away. A process that predates Trump by thousands of years. Somehow you're trying to make that Trump's fault?

Any labor economist will tell you this - Every month in the US there are 4-5 million jobs added or filled, and a similar number eliminated or vacated. When the DOL announces employment grew by 200k last month, that's just the NET GAIN. It ignores all the churning that produced it.

What's going on isn't politics, it's a bunch of shenanigans.

Maybe if schools stopped focusing on 'social justice' programs, and focused on STEM degrees, we would have someone qualified..
