Africa, the continent, is in the state that it is in because of things involving colonialization, human trafficking (slavery), sex trafficking, disease and so forth.
One would do their research and study of history to note that the birthplace of humans began in Africa. Not Europe, Asia, or anywhere else.
This goes back to the saying that Africa is the "morherland". It wasn't talking about melanin people but ALL people.
