NewB needing Help!!!!

Hello,
I'm new to any form of Web posting and chose eccie due to hearing how discreet it's members are and that you have to be vouched for to become a VP...but not really sure how the providers "verify" the clients? What should I be looking for to help ensure that my meet is a legit hobbyist and not LE?

Ask for references from the hobbyist, then follow up and contact the provider they use as the reference. In addition to references, many providers use alternate methods to verify the hobbyist is legit ie confirming employment. You should also consider joining p411. The guys there are given ok's from providers they've seen and go through a rigorous screening process.
