Delete PMs, Pics, Bookmarks...before or by MAY 30/escorts.com

This is just a reminder that Escorts.com is closing May 31st.

I think it would be wise to do the following by May 30th (both sexes--stuff in black, providers stuff in red also):

1). Delete PMs in SENT and INBOX. Sure they can probably recall everything you've ever sent over your history there, but let's make it a hassle for them if they want to do it. Besides, if they peek into your profile after it closes (if they are gathering evidence for a case), they'll see a quick "nothing there" and might move on.
2). Delete any NOTES you've kept in your NOTES section.
3). Delete any BOOKMARKED PROFILES you've kept.
4). Delete your photos...esp. those that show your face.
5). CHANGE or uncheck any or all the boxes in your profile's EDIT PROFILE section that mention what you "are": (ie., accommodating female/male, escort, Dom/Sub, Masseuse, Master/Slave, Model, Stripper/Dancer
6). While in the EDIT MODE, delete your phone number, web site or any other contact info. you no longer want there. I highly doubt you'll get any business from there the last day or two, so don't wait til the last minute to do it. I know "they" (meaning LE/or whatever) can find it online still, but why make it easy for them?
7). Providers...use up your AVAILABLE NOWs (if you've excess sitting there getting wasted.)
8). Most important, the part in the profile that asks: "Your feelings about drug use" and so many dummies (and I can't believe you'd admit it on a public board like that) had checked off: "An occasional j*int is okay" or even worse, the other 2 choices. FOR SURE, go in and don't choose "I'd rather not say", but rather "Never use them."

Good advice... As soon as I found out what was going on with them, I cleared out everything in my account for extra measure before deleting my account altogether.

Also remember it can take up to hrs for them to update your profiles if your deleting or making changes.
Paven Im not sure why you would need a credit card to log into your account I just got on mine and I have no cc info listed on my account.

As soon as all that stuff went down I haven't been able to access my account. I sign in then it asks which membership I want to join. It wont let me my stuff, so I don't know what's going on.

If you change the wording in your greeting or headline, it can take days or hours for them to approve. I tried changing it a few days ago and they didn't approve it. I highly doubt they are going to bother now, with less than 4 days left approving profiles...but DELETING pictures, bookmarks, notes, etc. is instantaneous! I had 3 pages of pictures and have deleted all but 4 I believe. on the 30th, I will delete the last 4.

Maybe. But maybe not. Maybe they just copied certain people or certain things they needed for whatever case it is that's being put together. Just to be on the safe side...it wouldn't hurt.

Also, if escorts.com sells their site and its info to someone else and that person decides to use your pictures and info. without your permission, at least it won't be there still (unless they sold a backed up copy.)

I doubt that the US Government, Dept of Justice (FBI) is going to sell the assets of a site dedicated to an illegal activity to an independent party. Might be hard to explain to the taxpayers.

Everyone does know thats who has been running that site for quite a while now, with all of your info, including CC numbers, sitting there...right?

I didn't mean the F B i selling the site but I meant the original owners...like selling the contents from a backed up copy. I doubt the f B i would have time for stuff like that.

Who really knows Tia, but was was enough to make me run far away as soon as the raid went down. And I had very minimal involvement with then to begin with.
