Three American Students Among Those Tortured and Hacked To Death In Bangladesh ISIS Attack…

Quote:
Posted on July 2, 2016 by sundance
Abinta Kabir, a student at Emory University who was from Miami, Florida; Faraaz Hossain, who attended the college’s business school and Tarushi Jain, 19, who studied at University of California Berkeley campus, were brutalized, tortured and killed at the Holey Artisan Bakery in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

(Left to Right: Tarushi Jain (19), Abinta Kabir, and Faraaz Hossain)
( Via Daily Mail ) According to witnesses a group of seven Islamist radicals stormed the cafe yesterday evening armed with assault weapons, pistols and ‘sharp objects’ before taking more than 30 people hostage.

The terrorists then hacked 20 people to death, sparing only those who could recite the Koran, before engaging police in a 12-hour standoff.

The cafe was eventually stormed by elite Bangladeshi commandos who killed the attackers and freed the remaining hostages.

Among those killed are nine Italians, seven Japanese, one Indian, two Bangladeshi, and an American citizen of Bangladeshi origin.

Terrorists have done this is several attacks. They interview and vet. I'm reading that a moderate Muslim does not want to kill nonbelievers, he wants the extremist Muslim to do that.

Sassy, you do realize the Dems were in total control of the Congress for 2009-2010 and didn't pass a budget? They had nearly a two year Supermajority where they could have passed any legislation possible but really only passed Obamacare.

Why?

I don't know about that, but the reason the deficit went up wasn't all Obama's fault. See Political Fact Check.

The theme of Gosnell’s reply, that the brunt of the spending-to-GDP uptick occurred when Democrats were dominant, was explored in a June 4, 2012, article by our colleagues at FactCheck.org, headlined: "Obama’s Spending: ‘Inferno’ or Not?" That article says the one-year 19 percent spending surge in fiscal 2009 "was mostly due to appropriations and policies that were already in place when Obama took office" in January 2009, the fourth month of the fiscal year. Obama’s spending initiatives, the story says, increased that year’s spending by up to $203 billion, or well under half the year’s overall increase, which was caused in part by bank bailout legislation approved by President Bush.

So, now, because of of the bank bailouts, the GOP wants to cut back on social safety nets. They also borrowed money from the social security trust fund for the wars during the Bush administration.

The federal budget surplus of 2000 quickly disappeared when Bush took office, turning into a sea of red ink. Bush borrowed heavily from the Social Security surplus to help obscure the fact that federal taxes were not bringing in enough revenue to pay for the wars and his tax cuts.

The so-called "Bush budget for 2009" wasn't passed until Odumbo and a new dim-retard Congress went into session in 2009; so, the "2009 budget" lock-stock-and-barrel belongs to Odumbo and the dim-retard Congress, and no amount of disingenuous deflection and outright lies can change that fact.

I should point out that there was never a 2000 budget surplus. It looked good on paper, all it did was hide the budget deficit.

that was done with smoke & mirrors accounting practices that no self-respecting accountant would dare do.
