You forgot about the visible tattoos, especially the one on the neck or high on the chest that yells out strongly to all the real world people that you are not one of them. We all know that one of the reason for these viable tattoos is to call attention to yourself that one is indeed rebelling against the norm.

If one thinks about it: We all, in one way or another present ourselves as we wish to be viewed by others. Some people just can't resist wearing a "uniform" that defines who they are - or are not.
