This bill is scary, it amounts to changing the grounds for a hobby related charge to simply touching a dancer in this case. Imagine how easy it would be for them to apply this to some other operation and roll up a bunch of charges.

The effect of this could be felt far beyond strip clubs.

Pay attention Puritan America is at work and they're going to make the Sharia Law they trump up all the time look like good times.

Pay attention and I'd recommend voting this misguided and agenda driven woman out if you happen to live in her state senate district (6 for the record).

Not the puritans. It is a mix of militant feminism, political stepping stones, and band wagon-ism.

If I remember this all correctly the rep your article is about is sisters with Amy Melton of Omaha City Council who is going after the sex club in Omaha and the old 20's show girls place.

I believe you are correct.

Puritans are involved, but there is probably some level of the above involved too. I'm not going to argue about the motivations of those that pass or float misguided, feel good NIMBY legislation though.
