Victims returning to the US today. Counselors lined up to assist victims in the wake of the horrifying time in China's custody. Hollywood planning a documentray and Lifetime movie based on the victims story.

Who the fuck told him this would be a good idea? Is he catering to the "gangsta" vote?
Now, every time some dumbass does something stupid in a Foriegn Country, will it be a mandate for the President
to get involved?

I agree. He should have totally stayed out of this, and let the Chinese authorities charge and give a trial to those 3 idiots.
AND YES I hope the school is also going to discipline them, but hell will freeze over i fear before a 'ball player' gets done for their own idiocy.. THE SCHOOL rakes in too much dosh from them to punish their antics.. Which is why so many schools ignore their willful under age drinking, partying and sexing up..

Actually, Trump painted himself in a corner on that one when when complained about Obaminable not doing anything (enough?) to bring back the White Guy who stole a poster in a hotel room in NK.
He was damned if he did and damned if he didn't. Personally he did the correct thing ... so long as their school etc handles some level of punishment appropriately .... if he were going to be damned one way or the other.
