Worst law on the books. Damn, a minimum year in jail now here. Guess that now makes first offense a felony. Wow... and in Chicago you can pay a $500 fine at arrest and it never goes on your record. Beginning to dislike our unicameral.

Yep, first offense is a felony. No more fine and probation ladies and gents.

All it has to do is meet what is surely a very broad definition of trafficking.

The concern troll women's group wants to justify their currently biased stats with the help of the government. All because they got butthurt when the last governor they tried this on vetoed it over them using the word "prostitute". Amazing what happens when a bunch of concern trolls decide to use politically popular terms like "trafficking victim" instead. Low and behold we get crap like this whose stated goal is to eradicate anything resembling trafficking in Nebraska.

Council Bluffs isn't ready and Iowa is next on the list for the concern troll women of America. Trying to end the world's oldest profession one state at a time.

It's the law now. Even the "liberal" World Herald is editorializing in support.

All I know is someone whom I know was involved in a LEO sting in CB.

A AD on BP has also been posting screen shots with alleged texts from LEO .The address mentioned in those texts is the same listed on the arrest report.

Stay Safe!

Be safe out there ladies and gents, the penalties just got very real if any of you gets caught.
Wow. I had missed this. Thanks for posting. Looks like only ladies I've met before from now on while at home..... Or, limit myself to other states. No new Nebraska ladies for me.

You're welcome grits, just trying to share information since not everyone has time to do google searches.

Do you guys think they will be able to apply that law to anything, regardless of age or trafficking?

Depends on how broadly written the wording is as far as defining trafficking.

They basically state that the intent was to end ticketing and probation and give buyers and traffickers real penalties in the article.

If you get stung I guarantee you get charged with a felony based off the reading of the article.

After that it's up to what information they have on you and what magic your lawyer can work. Always get a lawyer anytime you're dealing with the legal system.

Your life will be hell for a while and you will lose a lot (wife/so, job, etc.), but if you keep your mouth shut you can probably beat the rap.

Regardless you will have a felony on your record until the court makes a final decision. And if they have nothing on you the felony can be dismissed and expunged from your record.

But it'll probably save you a trip to prison (I dunno about you, but I don't want to find out how prevalent prison rape really is) if you can keep your mouth shut and give them nothing to charge you off of (time and companionship, don't even mention the donation...never mention money or sex specifically).

Just be safe and pay attention to your surroundings. If anything smells fishy or looks strange, bolt. If it's not a sting the provider will usually understand and reschedule you in my experience. (I'm new to here, but not entirely new to the hobby, spent a long time lurking here before joining and enjoyed many fine women in the process)

Damn they're trying to make a first offense a 1 yr minimum for everyone o_O. That's crazy.
