It seems this whole forum has sunk to depths heretofore imagined--and since the expectations have been low since day one, that says a lot.
Assuming the leaks were indeed unauthorized (never an automatic assumption), these three should be locked away a long time. Along with the likes of Manning and Clinton. But sadly we know some are more equal than others, and the whole crew will not be so treated.
But to watch the cluelessness of some here--or maybe it is the fact that they no longer care if their babbling makes any sense or not--has moved the forum from the foolish to the absurd. The most vocal posters on both fringes here seem clueless about how the world actually works. Not shocking, but sad nonetheless.

looks like there is a war inside CIA over the leaks. Spy vs. Spy apeculation.
So when 10 officials step forward to reveal the intelligence failures in China, as they did in the New York Times report, we need to consider why they chose to do it now. Was the timing merely coincidental? Was it an attempt to undermine a possible faction in the CIA that is leaking damaging information on the president?

There is an endless, irreparable rift between desk jockeys and operatives in any organization, and the conflicts are most often driven by what amounts to be jealousy and insecurity.
A bank examiner once told me the way he found embezzlement was to look for confusion in the documents and then follow the documents to the source. The "fraudulent" activities that apparently have been ongoing for almost a year where perpetrated and begun in the Obaminable Administration for the sole purpose of undermining the current administration, IF ELECTED, and a possible "trip wire" if HillariousNoMore by some remote chance was elected AND attempted to tarnish the fabricated legacy of Obaminable.
There is no other explanation being given for the "investigation" that erupted within the DNC this past summer with the unplanned release of documents critical of the Clinton Machine AND the unmasking of intelligence information after the result of the election was known.
There will be a backlash when the turds are uncovered in the sand box.
