I have been told that men always can recall the girl they first kissed while women usually can't because it was just not that big a deal to them. I would like to hear some feedback as to whether this is true and select recollections from those inclined to share.

I remember mine! my first kiss was a girl I think i was 8 or 9 . First boy kiss I was 12. how about you?

January 1969 -- my 1st date, we went to a winter semi-formal of a Catholic girls' HS. I was a clueless 16-year-old doofus. Why do I remember it so well? Because no sooner had our lips met, than she stuck her tongue down my throat -- HOLY SHIT!

I was six and gave her my favorite rock. She had never paid much attention to me but said she would kiss me if I gave it to her. I was in "love". She never kissed me again. I wonder where my rock is.

First kiss - 15 - I do remember name, she was on the dance (drill) team and I thought she was the hottest girl I had ever seen. Plus I loved the little outfits they wore at the games.

First french kiss - same girl the following week.......she taught me how to do both kissing and french kissing.............apparently the previous week I had sucked at kissing.

sounds like my first marriage.....still looking for my house, car, money.....

First Kiss I was in 6th grade and it was with "Lisa". We kissed on the playground surrounded by 30-40 of our "closest friends" egging us on. I was so clumsy that when I went in for the deed, I pushed too hard and knocked her down.

Needless to say she didn't kiss me again.

My first real kiss where tongues touched was with a new neighborhood girl who was HOT...at age 13.....she was chewing spearmint gum...so every time I smell spearmint I think about it....(good memories! thanks for this thread!!)

What I've repressed is my first boner, slow dancing with someone in junior high school (a.k.a. middle school.) I do remember being MASSIVELY embarassed each time it would happen.

My first was around the age of 14 or 15, playing spin the bottle. I went first, bottle did not land on my girlfriend. I was petrified but I just puckered up and went for it. I hope she doesn't remember cause I bet it was bad!!!!!!!!

I can remember my first kiss but I don't think it is the one we are talking about we were in the 1st grade. It wasn't untill years later that I found out about these beautiful mysterious creatures. That I have chased, runaway from and just about everything in between I have also learned something from everyone one of you. Thank You Ladies I am sometimes awed by you and sometimes in Love with you and I will never understand you. Anyway my first real kiss was with my Dads step granddaughter ( I guess thats how you say it) I was about 12 or 13 she was 15 It was the first time I met her, her sister and their parents my dad and stepmom took all of us out to some play or something and we sat in the very back and madeout the entire time. My dad was Pissed!! My new brother inlaw (her dad) looked like he wanted to kill me. I was never asked to go anywhere with them again. Wonder Why? Yes I would do it all over again even knowing what I know now.

P.S. I probably know less now than I did then.

HG, a similar memory sticks with me: We were in the back seat of my friend's 1967 Pontiac GTO (white with red upholstery); had never been so close to a girl, and all 5 of my senses were on overload, the most powerful being from her fragrance as my lips brushed her neck. To save my life, I couldn't tell you what scent it was. But every time I catch a whiff of perfume from a lady, for just a fleeting fraction of a second I fondly re-live that moment, and my knees weaken ever so slightly.

My first kiss was at 12 years old. Her name was Susie and she had the most kissable pouty lips I had ever seen. She was a neighbor and asked me to kiss her. I can still remember how soft and warm her lips were. It probably lasted for 30 seconds - just lips touching. Then we immediately learned about holding each other and french kissing. We also learned that it would product a boner that would not go away. Since then I have always liked lfk and dfk as part of my hobby. Too bad not many providers are up for that.

I hope not to sound too lame, but my first kiss was when I was 17. I used to be the kind that was totally shy around girls, still am a little, but back then, I could hardly talk to them. haha.

But yeah, my first girlfriend and I kissed for quite a long time and it was awesome. Needless to say, I did a lot of catching up after that.
