All of them will likely take cash. Just about every place I've ever stayed (anywhere in the US) still required a credit card for incidentals. Good luck.

cheaper motels usually take cash but require card for incidentals and always require ID. I have known some ladies who have been able to use prepaid gift cards however. I find its easiest to use all of your normal info and just make sure not to act suspicious. Dress nicely, find a nicer hotel and say you are in town for some meetings? Most hotels are easy going.
