Default Thanksgiving Day
My father died in 2007. I was in prison for a non violent DWI. I knew when he died. Death and I have been one.

My father liked Turkey Day. People liked my father. Sometimes his very simple pragmatic words of wisdom were good. Other than that, he was a dirty old man.

As time passes it is more difficult for me to visit my mom's place.

Thanksgiving dining would be wonderful along with the dessert

I count my blessings everyday despite losing many loved ones including my wife of 33 years within the last six years. Luckily I still have family and friends to share good times with especially during the holidays. I wish everyone a safe and happy holiday season.
