Years ago I watched my dad try to quit smoking and fail over and over and over. Finally he succeeded in doing it. I overhead him telling one of his friends what finally got him over the hump. He said all the other times he tried to quit because he knew it bothered my mom (I never once heard my mom say anything about his smoking, but it did bother her). When he finally quit he realized that of all his friends, he was the last one who still smoked. He quit because HE wanted to quit. That was almost 40 years ago. Today he is 91.

You can do it Ginger. If my stubborn old fart of a dad can do it, so can you.

Good luck to you Ginger, it's a battle for sure. Going through it is tough but you can do it. 21 days creates/breaks a habit. Just stick with it.

You did it once before, you can do it again! I believe in you!

You can do it Ginger. I admire your determination. I have no Doubt you will be successful. I have never smoked so I can't relate but have seen a lot of people struggle. It's not easy I've heard. You will do it!!!

Time has no meaning here; seconds in this dread chamber seem to pass as centuries would upon the Earth. Slowly, the opaque mists recede and the unwary psyche traveler faces dead Cthulhu himself. This, then, is the corpse-city of R'lyeh, where the Elder Gods await in their timeless slumber.

One massive eye starts to open, then the other. Gradually, the behemoth pulls itself up to its full monstrous height. To gaze upon its very visage is to be driven instantly mad, though that is surely the least of the infinite torments of the damned to follow.

Very occasionally, perhaps once in a century, an intrepid soul manages to somehow escape, traveling back up through the seemingly endless layers of psyches before arriving at the top psyche, the one he calls "me". Liberated, yes...but at such an awful cost.

These unfortunates desire only one thing: to warn others of the perils risked by plumbing the murky psyche depths. This however is not possible, as the madness from far beneath still persists. Concepts such as "words" and "sentences" have lost all meaning and their dire admonitions become a byzantine melange, incomprehensible to all.

I finally understand. I'm so sorry that that happened to you.

Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn!

That feeling when you've got the perfect idea for a prank, but you're no sure how to execute it without it being traced back to you.

Getting the new iPhone X tomorrow! So excited!!

Oooh. I’ll finally be able to bring my phone into my hot tub without worrying about destroying it.

I hope you enjoy it.

I wanted the iPhone X but could not spend $1K + tax for a phone. Bought a Android phone (The Essential phone) and spent the saving on other toys.

I’ve been having trouble hearing my calls on my 6s plus... Took it in for diagnostics and they said the receiver is going out & it can’t be repaired.

It is pricey, I agree… But I look at it as a necessary business expense. It’s hard to be a call girl without a good phone.

I'm thinking of getting rid of my Iphone because I hear they bog down their older phones in order to make you buy new ones more often.
