Default Who's going to be the 2nd worst team in the MLB this season?

i think its safe to say that no one will be worse than the Houston Astros this year.... their starting lineup is basically a AAA team. easily another 100+ loss season for them.

so who's 2nd worst?

Cubs, Marlins, Twins, Royals, Mets, Rockies, or Other

Cubs are an easy pick, their in year two of Theo Epstein's rebuild... they will be hard to watch as usual... 3 straight losing seasons

Marlins get a new park last year, sign a bunch FA's.... then trade them all away before this season... what a fucking joke.... 3 straight losing seasons

Twins also with a new park.. but in a steady decline 2 years straight

Royals put as little money in the team as possible.. then trade away one of the top prospects in baseball (Wil Myers).... 9 straight losing seasons

Mets have sucked 4 years straight now, nothing will change there

Rockies also in a steady decline 2 years straight

I don't really follow sports, but all I can ever say is "fuck Houston teams". Goddamnit!

It will be a move up the ladder for the Royals.

I follow the Rangers and I remember someone saying the Royals have the best players in the farm leagues, so better times are coming

Your saying that like winning 70 games is a good thing. Yet asking that team to win 70 games is a tall order. They are the worst team along with the Marlins.

What makes you think the Astros have any AAA level players.

They should have just handed out uniforms to the Sugar Land Skeeters.

No doubt Astros will be the worst. The Rockies will surprise people this year. They have a very powerful offensive lineup. What they lack is starting pitching, but some of them look promising. They will not be 2nd worst. I say the Cubs 2nd worst.

Well, it is spring. hope springs eternal.

Then again, if the half-Astros do improve by 20 games this year, nobody will notice.

But they won't be the worst in baseball.

shit! The little Darlings will have to play most of their division road games on the West Coast.

Do you or the ten people who voted for the Royals even pay attention to baseball, or do you just talk outta your rectum?

The Royals traded for 3 starting pitchers, one of them being Shields, and they have a great young team. You just proved you know nothing about baseball.

i guess you don't watch the Royals

so are you saying that not paying or keeping a Cy Young award winning pitcher in Greinke was a great move?

...and trading away the top prospect in baseball for Sheilds (who IMHO was Tampa's third best pitcher) is a better move?

you are aware that Sheilds is a free agent after next season right? ...do you think the Royals are going to pay him?

there is a reason this team has had 9 straight losing seasons... and counting
