In the now famous, or infamous meeting, depending on your political perspective, with the Russians, The President told them he fired the FBI Director, who was a "real nut job".
I suppose from President Trumps perspective, he is. The President believes he has done nothing wrong, so he can't see why Comey just couldn't see things the same way.
Like him, or hate him. Trump is Trump.

So Trump tells the Russians that the man charged with investigating their involvement in our 2016 election is crazy and he fired him. 
Hmmmm....Trump seems to be the only SOB on the whole planet who does not believe they influnced our election. Before anybody misconstrues that inton me saying Clinton would have won...that is not what I said but they were a factor. How much is up for debate and pointless debate imho. It is done.
But Trump is his on worst enemy.

Of course the Russians try to influence elections here and abroad. We do the same thing. There certainly wasn't any uproar when Obama tried to influence the Israeli election. The stupid bitch HRC and her campaign made it easy for them to meddle in the election but that doesn't mean Trump or his people had anything to do with it. If you recall the email leaks started before Trump was even the nominee. I don't believe HRC would have won regardless of the Russians and their meddling. She was a horrible candidate and ran the worst campaign in recent memory.
