I’m coming to NOLA for the first time in a couple of weeks and would love a recommendation for a good local brewery or at least a bar with a wide selection of local craft beers. Obviously if any of the ladies on here enjoy craft beer too I’d love the company! ;-)

Right. It's a good area to check out. Nearby are Courtyard brewery, Nola brewery, Miel brewery, and Bulldog, one of the best local beer bars. Urban South Holy Roller is my go to brew.

The Avenue Pub, 1732 St.Charles Av. has a constantly changing mix of local, national and imported brews, some of which are very limited editions.
Port Nola brewing co 4124 Tchuopitoulas St. has a nice bar/restaurant esp. for games

Avenue is top notch. Widely recognized. I think it was recently voted one of the top beer bars in the states.
