remember Chief Justice Rehenquist? He was ill for a year. a reporter asked him in july 2005 when he was going to resign. he says "that's for me to know and for you to find out!" He died 3 months later in sept. 2005.

Term limits make sense.
We could make two appointments per Presidential term the limit, also.
So, when Ginsburg dies, Trump would have to be reelected to make another appointment, for example. Otherwise, we wait til the next President. I'm going to vote for Rubio or Pence.

With RBG having a significant portion of her lung removed for cancer, and as frail as she already is, I think it is possible the media is covering up the fact she is on a ventilator.

She "working from home" remember? Kind hard to work from home when you are on a ventilator.
The issue is if a person is on a ventilator and has a feeding tube they can potentially keep you alive for years. That's why it's imperative that someone impartial from the court witness her vote.

Not really. An age limit perhaps, but that can be too restrictive given that people age at different speeds and areas of their bodies.
The politics of term limits defeats the purpose of the independence from the political process that put them on the bench in the first place. Once they are on they don't have to kiss ass.

That doesn't matter.... read the book of Revelation (although I seriously doubt you will understand it) ..... but the end of the world (Armageddon) is coming ..... the world will be completely destroyed, Russia will not survive, neither will the U.S. .... in the aftermath of world destruction only one nation will be left standing, Israel, God's chosen land (and God's chosen people, and not the people who claim it is theirs and have been trying to claim land that has never been theirs .....

To be real- If RBG were on a ventilator - she would be in a hospital. She has had an acute medical issue and surgery. To be discharged in the time period she was - it is not possible for her to be on a home ventilator.
The preparation, resources, nursing support, and adjunct care are extensive, and impossible to cover from an intrusive press.
I am confident she is not on a home ventilator and feeding tube.
Opinion Based upon public press releases and information.
No violation of HIPPA laws.
