Can someone pleas tell me how to post part of a message as private so that only PA users can see it

First you need your super secret ECCIE decoder ring.

Nah, not really.

Type whatever message you want. Highlight the message with your cursor. Click the Private button on the message toolbar.

OR

Do this by hand [PRVT] my secret hidden message [/PRVT]

Except change the "PRVT" to PRIVATE.
