Its funny how in many ways society looks down on the hobby/providing as a MORAL injustice. In most situations this is led by the PRIDE of women in society that consider themselves morally above a woman that falls into this profession via circumstance or choice.


You have the professional woman who says she would never stoop so low, or the religous housewife with a husband and stable home that say these women are morally wrong and damned to hell. Mainstream society looks down on the providers as uneducated, usually drug addicted women that went wrong and now are using the only thing they have left to exploit mens weakness for immoral sex.

So along comes HARD TIMES. The economy goes south, the husband gets laid off, the professional woman has lost that executive postion she once held, and these once proud and morially convicted women now turn to the profession just yesterday they looked down at. Yesterday they sat in judgement and today they are posting their first ad as a NEW PROVIDER on the scene. Now the proud woman is COMPETITION to the lady she once looked down on as a lost soul. What a difference a day makes, so the saying goes

Depends. Second wave feminism cursed the sex industry for being demeaning and degrading. However, as we have moved into third wave feminism, women have taken back this industry as one that is empowering. I really have to agree with that idea. Providing to me is an absolute aphrodisiac, because I find myself to be completely in control, whether or not it's a sesh where I'm more submissive or dominant. What is more empowering than a man paying you hundreds of dollars to hang out with you and then exiting your life until he wants to give you hundreds of dollars again to hang out? I can't think of a single man who wouldn't love that for himself.

You have to remember that our nation was founded by people who brought over their old Puritan beliefs that people should only fuck when they get married, and only on Friday night with the lights turned out, and then only for procreation, and they shouldn't receive any pleasure out of it, especially if they're females.....Everyone is supposed to work and toil and labor from sun up til sun down, then eat dinner at the family table, spend hours reading their bible, and then off to bed early so they can arise with the sun to do the next day's chores.....The Puritans were always afraid that someone, somewhere, somehow might be having some fun and they wanted to put a stop to it.....Kinda like those fucking Jehovah's Witnesses or other religious zealouts who are always sending me this religious propoganda, or always knocking on my door trying to get me to do shit as their mission is to save my soul.....The propoganda gets immediately sent to File 13, and the zealouts that show up at my door get a religious cussin' out (and the last time one came onto my property I happened to be watering plants so I turned the hose on them.....Probably was rude, but it was also oh so satisfying.....lol

Morals: We all have them. Providing or not, we all have limits to what we will and won't do for money. Doctors that don't believe in abortions wouldn't be first in line for a job @ an abortion clinic.

Pride: We have all had to swallow it sometimes. The decisions that we are sometimes forced to make does not change the intensity of the pride we have within ourselves. Ever heard of the saying, "Doing what I have to do until I can do what I want to do."

Providing: The regular "working woman" and the "mainstream media" can only see what is shown on the surface. Many of us providers are just as educated, poised, and goal-oriented as anyone else. If you are strong-minded and firm with your beliefs then no one can belittle you into feelings of low self-worth. You are what you say you are...and I feel like a Superstar! (especially always being the topic of discussion when I turn on the TV)

The media needs to realize how drastic they have made this industry. The latest happenings in the escort business have been extremely important and needed to be brought to peoples' attention, BUT, not everyone knew about the "adult section" of sites like CL until the media put it out there. Now every Tom, Dick, and Harry wants to buy and sell "goods." So are we, the providers, to blame? Hmmm, I don't think so.
