Debate of "That's Not Her"

In my continuing effort to lessen drama and prevent SPA announcements from hijacking otherwise useful threads, I'm redirecting possible debate over my recent "That's not her" thread here. Hopefully, this thread will not be needed, but if it is then let's not clutter that thread with this debate.

Stiffy, in bold, red, underlined letters stated that alerts was the place for fake ad outings. Perhaps the whole thread should be moved there, that's possible. I do think a continuous thread is the best way to handle these. I've found six fake ads this morning alone. The number of fake ad alerts on the first page of Alerts? One. From nearly two weeks ago.

I'm going to give the system of individual fake ad postings under the Alerts section an F for Fail. Fake pics are a problem. Our verified providers work hard and, usually, provide fairly accurate to very accurate pictures. Upstart girls who haven't paid their dues per se should not be posting fake pics. It is certainly not fair to the hobbyist, who shows up expecting one girl and gets another.

My attempt with the "That's not her" thread is to use threads they way they are meant to be used. As new information comes in, any user is welcome to post it on the thread. It's a one-stop shop for info about whether those pics really are To Good To Be True. Seems more efficient to me.

So long as the thread isn't shut down due to excessive drama queenage, there is no actual need for debate. If the thread generates interest it will continue, if it doesn't it will fade into the ether of cyberspace archive peacefully. So give it a try Stiffy and other naysayers. If not, please voice your opinion here.

What he was stating with the red bold letters is that ad was mentioned in the Alerts section.

I used to respond to practically every ISO about a BP girl with links to google searches that turned up multiple hits for her pics.

It has always been easy to do a quick search on TinyEye, or Google Image search, but now Google has made it even easier. A simple right click over the image, select "Search Google For this Image" and *BAM* search done.

I just gave up. Its like trying to empty the ocean with a teaspoon. Not only that, but there have been so many threads discussing how to research an ad quickly and easily. There is now even a sticky in ISO (thank you KCQuestor) giving very easy step by step instructions on how to Google an image. If, after all that, guys still have to ask in ISO if her pics are real, there is just no helping them. If guys still go see women who's ads are questionable, and still get burned, there is just no helping them.

I don't think Nurse Becky has ever had a single good review. She has a long list of bad reviews. Yet every so often, yet another new review pops up. If the guy had done his research before the fact rather than after the fact he would have saved himself some grief and some money.

The point is, you can knock yourself out all you want Petruchio, it won't do any good. Sorry, some folks learn by example, but there are just some folks out there who just have to piss on the electric fence themselves.

And PS. Alerts are considered to be a forum for alerts about safety issues, LE issues, etc. Fake ads are generally not considered to be true "alerts", so you would likely be better off posting information about a fake ad in Co-Ed rather than Alerts. I could be wrong on that, but I am pretty sure I remember mods stating in the past that fake ad alerts did not belong in the alerts section.

I appreciate your point SotF. One person bailing out an ocean with a teaspoon is not possible, you're right. And no, no matter what we do many will still continue. However, if others join me in my crusade to unmask fake pics, we will create a climate of "Don't do that here".

OP police have changed the culture by sending the message "Don't do that here." Some dauntless girls continue to do so, some do quite well. They don't get them all, but the keep the rest from attempting. That' what I'm attempting here, the word being "Don't post fake pics in KC, they'll know right away."

Sure, everyone can do what I'm doing on their own and I presume they are. That's why I'm advocating for this, it saves time based on the contributions of a few members. That's why this site exists, the share information.

First, let me say I enjoyed your "emptying the ocean with a teaspoon" metaphor! Made me smile!

I must confess that for some time, I have not understood why you or any other girl would take up some of your valuable time to help these guys who are seemingly hell-bent on finding the girl of their dreams on backpage or wherever, by doing the research for them!

Oh, they take the help they have received from you and some other girls and generally express their appreciation, but let me guess, none or almost none of them have scheduled with any of you, instead they just accepted the free assistance and avoided wasting their time and money and then went back to searching for their next conquest or that special value.

This is exactly why I have given less advice to the stupid on here. I will help the new and unknowing but NOT the idiots who still see girls with a zillion no reviews or who tofft because a picture of a girl in Bp looked so damn good but it turned out to be fake pics or a bait n switch.....ALL because they was too lazy to do their own research. And, of course being lazy, they come on here and ask us that know what we're doing, to do the work.....I dont ever answer iso's with any help. I never do tineye or google image searches or google escorts numbers! I'm not doing the work for a guy to see someone else, that just sounds silly to me. References for reputable ladies is about the most work ima do. And, even then I'm particular about who I will give a reference for.

By you giving this girl a yes review and your response is that she is the right girl in the sack, then you have made extra work for the next guy. So, you want to "bust" other women for using fake pics, sight unseen.

I'm not advocating one way or another here. I think girls who use fake pics are stupid, and I will never understand why guys stick around when they see the girl and realize the pics are fake.

But you can't have it both ways. So here you are on this rant about girls who use fake pics. So in your world, every girl who uses fake pics should be busted, called out, and shamed - except just this one girl, because she got your personal seal of approval.

So go after the fakes, but recommend one with fakes. Following these recommendations, well, we're all fucked, and not in the good way.
He is not the only one, there are other reviews saying not the girl in the pics, but
close. Not the girl in the pics, but she looked good.. and so on..
AMPs always use fakes, and that is well known and we know it's the luck of the draw.
It's our choice to take a chance.
But when individual providers use fake pics, that is just plain deceitful. Appointments are made because of these pics.There should be some honor in this business.
