Greetings Everyone...
I hope that all have had a RESTFUL week-end...and if not... I hope it was filled with NAUGHTINESS that you are willing to share with the rest of us!! Lol...
FIRST, I would like to apologize to all of the gentlemen... that have contacted me in the last few days... and are wondering WHY HASN'T SHE REPLIED?!? Lol... I promise that YOU have in NO WAY offended me... I have simply had an incredibly busy week...
I had a PHOTO SHOOT on Thursday with a NEW PHOTOGRAPHER...MEGAN LOVE... and for those of you... who have yet to have seen her work... I think you will LOVE HER as much as I DO!!
I have been TRULY BLESSED with the PHOTOGRAPHERS that I have worked with... all three of them... have been SIMPLY INCREDIBLE!!
So, on my LAST MODELING THREAD... I decided to impart... some of the dieting and exercise tips... that are helping me get my BODY INTO SHAPE!! I thought I would continue that train of thought... with some of the BLOOPERS of the PHOTO SHOOT...
This particular shoot... was my FIRST OUT DOOR SHOOT... So, as you can imagine... this created A LOT OF CHALLENGES for both MEGAN and MYSELF!! LOL... While early morning light can be VERY KIND to a MODEL'S BODY... AFTERNOON SUN CAN BE A BITCH!! LOL...
However, the first part of this shoot... I had been planning... in my head... for about 18 months... and I just had to find.. the RIGHT photographer, location... etc... before I could make it all happen...
I wore a total of SIX OUTFITS for this shoot... and it took close to 6 hours... to complete the day... and by the end of the session... I was BEGGING MEGAN not to ask me to pose anymore!! Lol...
Megan and I had HELP on this photo shoot... So, special thanks to "SunsetCowboy" for not only letting us USE HIS PROPERTY... but also, for picking us up... and for assisting throughout the ENTIRE SHOOT!! Now, he has ASSURED ME... that seeing me NEARLY NUDE AND NUDE over the course of the entire day... has in NO WAY TRAUMATIZED HIM!! Lol... He even kindly offered to not only let me use his COWBOY HAT but also HIS TRUCK in a few of the PHOTOS!! Isn't he a TROUPER and a TEAM PLAYER? LOL...
SLAVE GUINEVERE'S TIPS TO PREPARING FOR A MODELING SHOOT:
1) Remember, the old adage... WHAT DOESN'T KILL YOU MAKES YOU STRONGER!!! Lol...
**As a model... you are CONSTANTLY counting your calories... and I swear to goodness... that MEGAN and SUNSETCOWBOY were REALLY testing my MODELING RESOLVE when they stopped to get BREAKFAST BURRITOS right before the shoot!! NOT TACOS... BURRITOS!! I WAS LIKE REALLY?!? Lol...
**Just keep chanting "WHAT DOESN'T KILLS YOU..."
2) Schedule a date with Rockerrick prior to your photo shoot!!
** I am SERIOUS about this one... Lol... He is VERY GOOD at administering TOUGH LOVE in regards to your physical condition... and while I may not have APPRECIATED it last MONDAY.... I certainly did on THURSDAY...
*** You have to have YOUR SUPPORT GROUP when you train... but it is VITAL that you also have those folks who will KEEP IT REAL... and who's hard core honesty... will hopefully PUSH YOU INTO TAKING IT TO THE NEXT LEVEL...
****So, RR... from your favorite little slave to you... I would like to offer you a heartfelt THANK YOU!! Your honest assessment...pushed me even harder to succeed... and I LIKE that sort of a challenge... so, THANK YOU for your help!!
3) Now, that being said... KNOW WHO YOUR SUPPORT PEOPLE ARE... Lol... Because, you will NEED them to LISTEN to you... as you BITCH, MOAN & COMPLAIN that YOU AREN'T FAT!! Lol...
** Seriously, I have a GREAT core group of friends... who know how hard I train... and when I am tired... and at my wit's end... they tell me that they love me... and they remind me that I CAN DO THIS!!
*** REMEMBER... LIFE IS YIN & YANG... We are a people that needs and thrives on DUALITY...
4) REWARD yourself after your BIG EVENT!! Whether or not you are training for a race... a modeling shoot... or WHATEVER!! Give yourself a day where you can EAT whatever you want!!
*After the modeling shoot... I SCARFED DOWN a HUGE STEAK QUESADILLA!! Yummy!! And no... I DID NOT THROW IT UP!! Lol...Trust me, I have too much trouble with emesis after my IgG treatments... I try to keep all food down after I have eaten it!!
5) PLAN multiple races, events or modeling shoots... so, that you DO NOT lose your momentum!! I have ALWAYS DONE THIS.... After, you have completed the race, shoot etc... it is tempting to completely HOP OFF THE BAND WAGON... However, if you have multiple races, events or modeling shoots PLANNED... you are MORE LIKELY to keep working harder...
** So, yes... this means that I will be parading my NAKED ASS around TEXAS somewhere in the next 4 to 6 weeks... DAMMIT TO HELL!!
6) PAT YOURSELF ON THE BACK!! It doesn't matter if you are where you WANT to be... what matters is you are TRYING to get to a new state of physical fitness that you weren't at before... Remember to take it... ONE EXERCISE AT A TIME...
*Just so you know... my TRI-CEPS and QUADRICEPS are HATING me right now... DAMN TRI-CEPS... Lol
BLOOPERS
1) I WISH ya'll could have seen my EXPRESSION when I was LAYING in the PASTURE... BUGS flying EVERYWHERE... and my PHOTOGRAPHER... starts frantically WAVING HER ARMS in front of HER FACE... as she EXCLAIMED about how MANY BUGS were out in the FIELD!! LOL
**MIND YOU... I was LAYING IN SAID FIELD!! LOL... And had been for about 30 minutes... Lol... However, my ex boyfriend taught me WELL... you ARE NOT ALLOWED TO MOVE NO MATTER WHAT... when the photographer is composing the shot...
2) There are quite a few WATER PHOTOS... and let's just say... that your little slave... is a tad bit of a GERM A PHOBE... and when presented with the CHALLENGE of putting her DAINTY LITTLE TOES in the MOSS COVERED POND... a LOOK OF SHEER HORROR crossed my face!! Lol...
** However, if nothing else... I am a PERFECTIONIST... So, with encouragement from Megan and SC... I made it ACROSS the MUCK... through the ICY WATER... so, that I could perch my LITTLE ASS on this ROCK in the middle of the POND/CREEK....
3) While on SAID ROCK... Megan and SC decided to open a bottle of RED WINE... So, not only do the CIVILIANS GET TO EAT... but they get to IMBIDE DELICIOUS REFRESHMENTS as well...
**Yes, I was quite disgruntled at this point... Lol...
4) CLIMBING A TREE IN LACY BLACK LINGERIE... Lol... NEED I SAY MORE?
** The RUMORS are TRUE... BARK DOES NOT feel good RIDING UP YOUR ASS!! GIGGLE
5) The loss of ALL MODESTY after fatigue had set in... By the end of the day... I was simply EXHAUSTED... and when we passed this MISSION LIKE STRUCTURE... Megan couldn't resist... and I was asked to hop out of the truck... and to perform like a GOOD LITTLE MODEL!! Well, I was so tired... I just climbed out of the truck... and stripped down to NOTHING on the side of the road... So, I could then DON THE APPROPRIATE LINGERIE for a falling down ruin... See, how well trained I am?
Seriously., I want to say... with complete SINCERITY... that both MEGAN and SUNSETCOWBOY were a joy to work with... and I TRULY HOPE that you enjoy the RESULTS of our endeavors...
