				 Burning Bridge

I came in this morning and smelled a burning bridge, smoke all the way from Hawaii! (See the "Let's be honest here".....thread)
Guilt is a powerful human emotion.

Take a moment to think about all our fine military members who are serving or served their country in some shit-hole of a place, away from family and friends. They are often asked to take human life, not once but sometimes many times. Their comrades often leave this world way too soon. Some come back and are haunted by the memories; the feeling of guilt can be huge. It is not easy.

Tomorrow is Veteran’s Day. Please take some time to thank them for their service.

			Amen to that Woody!
I have several special friends that didn't make it back that I will be honoring tomorrow! Everyone enjoying what we have in America should be making time to thank vets all across this country, and especially those in harms way right now!!!

Nothing hurt worse than seeing those kids head to the sandbox in '03. Wished I could have gone in their stead, someone who had already been there.

Well, I'm a proud mother of a wonderful Son who'll be on a Peace Keeping mission next year. So, God Bless our Troops, their families, and the Vets who went before them!
