There are different ways to tell people sensitive things and things that might turn them off .. IMO if you want
good companionship that is trustworthy and reliable, then you must be honest up front .. just make an agreement and stick to it that you will keep the two lives separated and you will not embroil him/her in your "other life."
I used to hear the saying: Ask me no questions; I'll tell you no lies.
Just because someone knows what one does for a living doesn't mean they need to know or are entitled to know all the "blow-by-blow" (pun intended) details of the job!
