Aww TM, I was going to attend in proper Oz attire as The Cowardly Lion, M A X, could be Dorothy and who would be the scarecrow, PMDelites?? It would have made for a glorious, yet confusing send-off. I'm sure some of the ladies could dress up as Glenda the Good Witch, and, and well.....there goes a good idea down the drain.

To the OP's point, I have wondered about some of the wonderful ladies I've met who quietly left this life for another. I don't care if this is just a hobby and we're just here for the sex, sex is extremely intimate and we give a small part of ourselves to our intimate partners whether we think we do or not. Thus, we form bonds that cause pain when they are broken.

I agree. Most that I have known well, I knew when they were leaving, where they were going, and why. Some, I am still in contact with. We like each other as people. That's part of why we hammered each other so well for so long.

When I am gone, probably few will notice, and none will give a shit. If they do, we will remain in contact.

Sometimes we're just on hiatus. It's hard to reach out during these periods, because some providers are quick to label you a "time waster" if you are texting or emailing without booking a session. To me it's just better to wait until I have the money, time and desire before I get back in touch. I haven't seen my ATF in two years, but in my mind, her status hasn't changed.

I wondered this once. I had a regular for a long time. I emailed him just to say hi as I hadn't heard from him, and his secretary emailed me that he had suddenly passed away a few days after our last meeting.
Very sad.

i knew it was kind of odd to reply on a 3 year old post, but i had pretty much just gotten off the phone with her...and it hadn't really occurred to me to search her name before then...

cheers!

This was the toughest decisions I have To make by far in this hobby and in many ways has haunted me. The provider reached out 3 weeks after we agreed not to see each other and proposed a day together, no money exchanged, just a full day of full fun.... I decided that I was potentially putting my personal situation in jeopardy and decided against it....

IMO, this was the only logical and mature way to put this raging fire out, but there is not a week that does not go by that I don't think of her.

The regrettable nature of this hobby is the need to keep it separate (and secret) from your real life. Another aspect is, if the need to move on arises, there is no expectation of a goodbye or divorce. If you became very close, it would seem the decent thing to do would be to say something even if it leads to an uncomfortable conversation. Thus the reason so many avoid going there.

It is touching to hear so many ladies feel the void. A big hug to you all. Thanks for being there.

My ego sometimes wonders if a provider ever thinks about me "on down the road", say a week or a month later. If I see her a second or third time (which I have occasionally been able to do in the past), I wonder if she REALLY fondly remembers me or if she is just acting like she does. After all, successful providers by nature must be pretty good actresses, don't they?

Unfortunately, I do not have much available hobby time, and sometimes what I do get is very short notice. That makes it difficult to see a provider multiple times. (There are several providers who I'd LOVE to see again, including at least two who have retired from the hobby). So if you, as a provider, actually DO fondly remember me, please know that I'd love to see you again, and maybe during my next hobby availability our schedules will link up.

All that being said, I'm guessing that the reality is, most providers don't really think that much about any particular client "after the fact" unless we:

1) are one of her true regulars, as in weekly or monthly,
2) really made an emotional connection with her, to the point of her thinking "I'd like to see him in the real world", or
3) gave her the wildest, most incredible sex of her life.

My opinion is that #2 and #3 above rarely actually happen - regardless of what the reviews say - so that just leaves the regulars now, doesn't it? I'm also sure that for SOME regulars, her thoughts are actually more along the lines of "Oh God! Not HIM again..."

It's still a nice fantasy for us clients to BELIEVE that we made a lasting impression on her, though. After all, this whole hobby is based on illusion, isn't it?

I had some health issues this year and have not fully recovered, either financially our physically, it really warmed my heart that a few women checked up on me.
I am not delusional, but sometimes it's just nice to know your missed, for what ever reason.
