And that is why *ALL* these files should have been released. Not a pitiful prostatic stream.

Yup. Party should not even be part of this. Guilty is guilty. And let those that are be exposed to the public eye. Not have DOJ fly cover for them.

As I, other lefties, and those you call libbys of the boards have already stated. Do you think it should be about party or do you think that a full disclosure of all files should be released right now? There are enough people outside the DOJ/FBI that can make sure the *true* victims identities are protected. Not the wolves who did this.

Yup. Funny how it is the maggies that are making it about politics and not the victims.

That’s the question isn’t it. What is this whole thing about.
In my opinion it’s about the fact that powerful rich people abused women and girls and eluded justice. A majority of people in the country are convinced that the Justice department made a sweetheart deal to epstein in order to cover up the involvement of other powerful rich connected individuals, not necessarily because they were guilty or innocent but because just mentioning them in relation with the investigation would tarnish all of them with the same foul brush.
People want the truth but very few people really trust that the justice department is going to give it to them. The way they have been handling the release of these documents is just further proof that the government is spinning the story to further protect not just the victims but also those powerful individuals who want to keep their names and reputations intact.

It is going to destroy marriages and reputations (e.g. Bill Gates) but I don’t believe it will provide proof of any illegal acts beyond prostitution or pandering of adult women. And condemning that on this board reeks of hypocrisy

There are at least 3 sides to the truth.
So, would that mean you want what has been ordered: a complete release of all Epstein File documents with the only redact being to protect the victims?

Dayum....This is gonna get expensive. Hope we taxpayers feel we're getting our money's worth.
2,285 Epstein documents — totaling 125,575 pages — have been released so far.
BUT....DOJ says less than 1% of Epstein files released.
More than 2 million documents … remain in various phases of review and redaction and 5.2 million pages of unreviewed documents.
400 lawyers (400!?!?*?!) "will dedicate all or a substantial portion of their workday to the department's efforts to comply with the Act."
AND...more than 100 FBI analysts...
The average lawyer's hourly rate typically falls between $162 and $392...
At the low end, $614,400 a day in DOJ lawyer expenses.
At the high end....$1,254,400/day.
DC being a 'high cost' area, FBI analyst hourly rates can reach $53-$54/hour ($112,000+ annually). national average of around $42.58/hour
Another $34,064 to $42,200 a day for the analysts..

I feel that the Trump administration has indeed handled this matter awkwardly . . .or even with a malicious cover-up.
With said: I wonder why the Biden administration did not do a complete dump of everything . . .or anything.
Both sides of this have been deeply mendacious in this matter.
I am guessing, and this is just wild speculation on my prt, that there is some intelligence or security aspect to the whole Epstein Island operation. . . .along with the creepy to criminal actions of Epstein himself and everyone around him.

The side that is suffering the most are the victims.
No arm chair quarterbacking....unless you have a time machine available.
This is the moment. Release ALL the evidence as per the wishes of the victims. Prosecute ANYONE who is guilty.
I know that ain't a partison statement I said. Why does the DOJ have to treat this affair as such???? Can you maggies say why? And don't mouth "protect the victims." It is showing glaringly that it is protecting the predators.

And Biden? Hair sniffing Joe?
Where does President Biden, or whoever was running the country for him, fit into this mess?
They had all of this in their hands for four years . . . .
What ever happened back then to get justice for the victims?
