I have heard that tankers bound for China are getting through without problems, but those bound for any other nation are tasking fire of one sort ot or another.

Well, sort of.

Every carrier group is required to have one combatant escort just in case the group should meet some other combatant.

But to assume that every combatant is carrying nuclear missiles is not correct.

Many of our combatants are not designed to launch nuclear missiles.



I completed 17 deployments on FBM subs [with either 14 missile launch tubes, or 25 missile launch tubes, depending on class of sub].
