with two quotes by Mark Twain....

I heard some famous quotes too when it comes to posting. I don’t think it was Twain though.

Not sure who you are referring to, but GM is probably talking about outright plagiarism - i.e. taking credit for something quoted without proper attribution.

There is nothing wrong with pasting links to thoughtful and original columns, or quoting directly from those links while using quotemarks to delineate whose comment it is.

Question - how many times a day do you visit the DNC website to glean their/your latest talking points?

By the way, Mr. Copypasta never uses quotes, and very rarely provides links. He certainly never posts anything from "thoughtful or original columns" either, so I'm not sure what you're referring to.
