 You're asking the experts here!

Now if the question would have been: my friend has a broken IP address, then...
 |
Oops? What happened to those brotherly words of encouragement? You've been quoted...

Yes, actually pretty close to an IP address conflict... Friend is OK, recovering, taking it slow. Accessed router and hit "refresh IP address". All connection alive and functioning!

It's time for some soul music...
What Becomes Of The Broken Hearted

As I walk this land of broken dreams
I have visions of many things
But happiness is just an illusion
 Filled with sadness and confusion

 What becomes of the brokenhearted
Who had love that's now departed
I know I've got to find
Some kind of peace of mind, baby

The roots of love grow all around
But for me they come tumbling down
Every day heartaches grow a little stronger
I can't stand things pain much longer

I walk in shadows searching for light
Cold and alone, no comfort in sight
Hopin' and praying for someone who'll care
 Always moving and going nowhere

 What becomes of the brokenhearted
Who had love that's now departed
I know I've got to find
Some kind of peace of mind, help me, please

 I'm searching though I don't succeed
But someone look, there's a growing need
All is lost, there's no place for beginning
All that's left is an unhappy ending

Now what becomes of the brokenhearted
Who had love that's now departed
I know I've got to find
Some kind of peace of mind
 I'll be searching everywhere
Just to find someone to care
 I'll be looking every day
 I know I'm gonna find a way
 Nothing gonna stop me now
 I'll find a way somehow
 And i'll be searching everywhere
I know I'll find it somewhere

Songwriters: William Weatherspoon, Paul Riser, James Dean
Performed by: many artists over the years, but my favorite is the 1966 original by Jimmy Ruffin

AAAH....I remember those, they suck & blow! My cure was to not have monogamous relationships; he never does anyway I figure. So instead of Boy Friend, I now have Boy Friend Experiences (BFE's), and always in multiples. At least 3 at one time, with a pecking order of course, and add as I find them. It keeps your heart intact or at least spaced out too many, no risk.
As for treating the symptoms post breakup, I advise not hanging out alone at all for the first 2 weeks to month, and going out nightly even if you don't want to. You can go to the S.C. every other night, pick up civvy women at the book store in between, and become a alcoholic if not already. Then you have Crown, and Grey Goose to eao knse her exit, and assist the next one's entrance. i would not date a individual woman, wait or schedule the date ahead and make a 2nd one with a different random female. this will begin the process of seeing multiples, and who knows, the random may be the keeper...and the 1st one the stalker. Also, not being the only one is a hell of a way to make her be on her toes, and keeps her inline...where ever she may fall in the pecking order. Take applications, give promotions, and demotions.... just keep out your emotions.
My 2cents, and may or may not be politically correct...who cares.

That will not help him AT ALL. In fact, I am sure that will kill him.

That will make him forget about her.
My advice to him:
Fuck a lot, especially with girls half your age. (Assuming he is at least 36.)

Spend leisure time and meals with friends.

Eat right, work out - get in shape.

Wonderful point of view. At least with BFEs, they're always honest about the fact that they're seeing other women, and you never fall victim to hearing "I love you" and having your world turned upside down. Few things are more painful than realizing that someone you love dearly doesn't love you in return.

I'm finished being sentimental now... bring on the cock.

			AustinKboy...some advice for your "friend":
He should put all his energy into volunteering for a good cause...perhaps he can volunteer his services at my newly established 501 non profit(not named yet) dedicated to finding a cure for yellow fever? I've graciously and selflessly dedicated my own vagina to the cause and currently the research is to verify what happens when a girl's yellow fever is temporarily satisfied on a regular basis...does it make the fever stronger or weaker? More hands on research is needed if we are going to find a cure for this life debilitating sickness. Join me on my quest for research in this too often ignored field!

It will make your "friend" feel good to help a good cause and it will realign your perspective with what's really important in life. |

Yes, as I understand it, there is no known cure or prescribed treatment for yellow fever, which is viral in nature, other than kidney dialysis and intraveneous fluids. The idea that these fluids could be introduced vaginally or orally on a regular basis does appear to hold promise.

Since yellow fever is thought to be transmitted by mosquitoes, you may already be infected, or in at least be in a high risk environment given your New Orleans base of operations. If your research is ever expanded to include the Austin area, I advise that you to post a public notice to recruit volunteers.

For a good cause, I would suspect that you will find good men to volunteer for your efforts, including my friend. If you are visiting Austin in the near future, I would be glad to forward your contact information to my friend if you provide advance notice through a PM to my attention.
