If you consider negotiated benefits to public employees welfare, I'd like to know what else you consider welfare.Do you consider your benefits from the military, if you actually were in the military,welfare? Government aid (subsidies) to college students? Government subsidized research for use by private businesses? Building roads and bridges?

Handed Bush a surplus, a STRONG USD, and an economy that was humming along fine TY.

Bush:
1. Blew Clinton's surplus on undeserved tax cuts to the rich, along with 2 BS Wars.
2. Allowed the USD to loose 50% of its value.
3. Put the economy into such a severe tailspin many thought another Great Depression was about to happen.
4. After 8 long years couldn't find or kill Osama!

Obama:
1. Kept the US from falling into a Great Depression.
2. Bagged Osama ....that Bush/Cheney couldn't find.

You may be a welfare recipient by your own definition above. By the way welfare recipients sometimes pay the money back, a friend of mine's family did it.

and it's output barely generated enough income to run the country. In 2008, Iraq was asked to pay for some of the reconstruction and flatly refused.
A google of the subject didn't reveal any mention of "libs having their heads popping off" at the mention of Iraqi oil paying for the war. The google did has many entries like" Bush (or other administration official) saying the war won't cost a dime". Well they were only about 2 or 3 TRILLION off. But you know as Dick Cheney said " deficits don't matter".
As an admittedly uneducated person, maybe you should try doing a little unbiased research before you spout off. It's never too late to learn.
