Hey SL, how come in nearly all of the zombie movies
the power companies are still working, sending out
electricity. I mean zombies have taken over the world
but the boys down at the power plant are still cranking
out the juice, now that's dedication.

Based on how they work, the Zombies can't tell that those utility company employees are not Zombies. So they leave them alone. The utility companies and the post office are unaffected by Zombies.
