I have yet to have a valid NCNS. Nobody died, nobody was in a car wreck, nobody ran out of gas, not sick, no sick wife or child, no babysitter cancled, no house fire, no police brutality, no asteroid fell out of the sky and killed you.

Guys just call to be calling and have 0 intentions of fucking. If they did, they would have the money in the right hand the their cock in their left hand putting it in my mouth. I've only experienced the NCNS bullshit when I offer incalls. PMs and emails all day long but not a hard dick in sight.

I'm not butt hurt about NCNS and I wouldn't bother putting them on a DNS list. I would just like for guys to be serious. Getting some pussy should not be this difficult.

A "valid" last minute cancellation may be rare for appointments that are scheduled an hour in advance. Maybe in other situations as well. But life does, most assuredly, happen. I tend to schedule in advance, sometimes a week or more. And circumstances do sometimes intervene. In the last ten years, I think I've had 7 or 8 cancellations with less than a day or two notice. Sometimes I woke up sick. Sometimes a last minute emergency demand from an important client. Once my wife got sick and I had to take her to the emergency room.

You know, I sympathize with the ladies who get a lot of cancellations or no-shows. I'm not offended by the occasional venting or complaining about it, and they probably bitch less than clients do about this particular problem. But generalizations to the entire escort or client population are annoying and counter-producive. I don't assume, just because some ladies have cancelled or NCNS with flimsy or bogus reasons -- and believe me, I'm heard some doozies -- that all ladies who cancel/NCNS are BSing me. The ladies I've had to cancel on didn't assume, just because some clients have cancelled or NCNS with flimsy or bogus reasons, that all clients who cancel are BSing them. They were generally pretty understanding, even before I made it up to them (which means more than just "reschedule and see her later"), because they knew it wasn't a habit for me.

If a lady thought that my short notice cancellation was BS? Personally, I'd be offended. It would indicate that she had a pretty poor opinion of my integrity, and who wants to deal with that? I would still make it up to her, but I wouldn't see her again.

But of course I'm an opinionated curmudgeon.

Honestly, I think NCNS and last minute cancels are a little psych game being played. I think appointments are often made to be cancelled. Like furniture stores that open to go out of business. Sort of like, "Well, I know he/she'll see me now, so I don't have to follow through". The "just a ho/just a john" mentality. It's a shame that runs like a river through this hobby, but in truth, that's the actual fact....

If you don't really want to see or be seen, put the phone down and save everybody a lot of time.

Wow stated so well. Thank you for understanding my point. As far as it being a psych game I sometimes will get guys that bs a lot but I can usually spot them through convo. I have noticed that though from a few cancellations. Like they won't even answer or reply to text after they text confirming that morning but yet they can email 20 min later. Like have some kindness to atleast respond. Time is money and money is time in this business.

I agree some reasons are valid and life does happen. Those people that things happen to I understand but excuses like "oh I couldn't find the hotel so I went home" just suck or ncns or the "its been such a long day let's just meet some other time".That's the kind of stuff that's not cool and that I would DNS not real life reason.

I've been experiencing a lot of last minute cancellations lately myself. It's frustrating as hell, especially since I put so much effort in making an exceptional atmosphere. But you just have to roll with the punches or not work at all. It does get a little tuffer to stay so charming when it keeps happening. Keep your chin up girl.

It's frustrating for both sides. We all go through it, providers and hobbyists. Providers have had guys cancel at the last minute, and guys have had that also. We have also wasted our time driving all the way to an appointment after a first confirmation only to have the provider blow us off once we get there by either cancelling or not answering the phone/responding to texts. It sucks. It happens. I used to get mad about it, but after a while you just write them off and move on.

As far as deposits go. I would never book with a provider that requires a deposit. There have been many, many cases where guys have paid money up front and never heard from the provider again.... not saying that would be the case here, but you learn over time not to take that risk because eventually you will get burned for doing it.
