Agree, sometimes he does, but in this case ESPN were just being stupid from every possible POV.

didnt hear him say that, I had the sound muted... it doesnt bother me in the least that he did.
as an old weakside linebacker I can attest that being sweated out, blood running down both elbows, and one or two fingers pointing in different directions is the best HOT chic magnet in the world ... hotties like Galdiators, always have and always will

I, too, always found Musburger annoying, since he has such a penchant for making gushingly silly comments about all sorts of things. But I think the hubbub over this is just ridiculous, and that ESPN should apologize for succumbing to the pressure and issuing the original apology!
After all, if the comments didn't offend the subject beauty queen, why should they bother anyone else?
