The problem with expecting an equality approach to reviews is the difference in expectations. In this community, the gents have "shopped" for just the right lady that will fulfill his current fantasy. Yes, of course it started with a rumble in the groins, but in selecting his provider, he worked to satisfy a specific desire. Then the experience's reality is contrasted with the dream. Many of the ladies regularly meet or over-achieve that expectation, and are applauded in the review. But when the gent's fantasy/desire is harpooned (pics and profiles 10 yrs or 20 lbs old, deliberately concealing beer belly or severe disfigurements, photoshop'ing out tattoos, hair color totally different, etc), he feels had, scammed, mislead, lied to, cheated, and robbed to some degree. As the gent gains hobby experience and perspective, two things happen. He understands there must be margins error that must be allowed for, but at the same time, becomes increasingly intolerant of providers truly deceiving for the purpose of booking appointments. Most will then be recommending others against being fooled. Its no different than giving a business a bad review on Yelp because they got your money by misrepresentation.

The lady on the other hand, knows almost nothing about the gent due for the appointment. They certainly aren't expecting Brad Pitt to show up. They would be left with just assessing a brief encounter, with very few pre-conceived ideas, other than impressions from postings and/or references from other providers opinions. That's why I think the impetus behind the review would make it very different. Interesting, nonetheless. Great discussion RR!
