Actually, my question wasn't answered... so could some peeps PM me on some decent hotels in that area.. or put it here. also, read all 3 pages, and shame, shame, shame on all of you for not mentioning The Palm... you are so fortunate to have one there... None here... have to go to Houston, Dallas, or NY for my favorite steak place....

For the sake of diversifying your options and considering that the Palm is available in other places, how about tasting some of the great Steak Houses we have in town...Sorted randomly.... Pappas Bro, Vic & Anthony's, Capital Grill, Taste of Texas maybe even Morton's. Maybe even Eddie V's as besides an acceptable steak there is a lot of hookup happening especially early at the bar and more particularly at the West Av. one. so might kill 2 birds with one shot

The Palm is my FAV.... They don't have any here... There's a Morton's here... Done ALL the Papa's ones... heard of Taste of Texas... Insight of what a fan I am of this resturant... Daily email/ frequent diner card/ ect... but get the from Morton's and Ruth Chris.. but... was in NY end of May... Did the original Palm and The Palm Too... Was in ATL a few weeks later...The Palm... giggles...back in NY a few weeks later... The Palm West.... I am one of their most valued customers, and haven't been to the one in Houston since their face lift...(They reopened last month) . I want my picture painted on the wall there now dammit... There should be enough room, and well.... I deserve it.... hahaha
