Depends. I've brought something they had on their site. But once picked out a complete outfit incl Jessica Simpson boots & took it to Vegas w/me for a lady I'd never met. Spent more than a few hrs shopping. Most times I don't bring anything. Depending on my mood, funds at the time... Love giving gifts if I can but I'm by no means a wealthy man.

vegasbaby7, I notice that you've mentioned "funds at the time" and "I'm by no means a wealthy man." What is your take on...... always taking a gift to a provider, and just buying a cheap or cheaper gift when funds are tight or when not really sure how it'll go?

The way I look at it, I think gifts are really cool no matter how much they cost. Help is help, gifts are gifts, and in my opinion it isn't the size that matters, but it's the fact that you went out of your way and did something that you didn't have to do. What if you decided personally that, for all new ladies you met, you would take them a gift that cost somewhere between..... zero to three dollars. Even better..... meet a lady who charges some crazy dollar amount like $275, and say you go to the ATM and get out $280, what happens if you break one of those twenty dollar bills and take her a gift? Then you're paying her the full rate of $275, but you're also taking her a gift. $280 is $280 is $280, but there's now a full rate being paid and a gift involved, rather than her looking at it as if you're only giving $280 because you're too lazy to break that twenty. This isn't directed at you in any way, just another perspective.

I can see how over time gifts could be abused or expected by some ladies, to which I'd say if a lady ever COMPLAINS about a gift, well fuck her, no more gifts for that one. If you get a gift, you either say thank you, or you fuck off and don't get them anymore.

I think a gift small in size would mean a lot to the ladies who are appreciative of receiving anything above and beyond what's required. No more rounding up to the nearest five or ten dollar increment, I think some providers set their rates the way they do intentionally to make their rate seem lower when they know really it's a cheap shot at getting a built in tip.

More power to those who pay the fixed rate.

How many gentlemen have ever met with a lady and rounded up to the next dollar increment? If you've ever fallen in this category, I think spending the difference and buying a gift would leave a bigger impact on the lady if she's decent. Like a... wow, thank you, you didn't have to do that, I really appreciate you.

Guess I've always looked at it this way - the lady I'm meeting is my girlfriend for however long we're meeting. I treat her no differently than I would a RL girlfriend. I wouldn't bring my girlfriend a $3 gift. Nor would I bring her a gift every time we meet. Not sayin I'm right, just sayin how I look at it.
