I totally agree. I have been told to (and I'm paraphrasing) keep my head down and not draw attention to myself. Don't poke the lions in the cage. I would say some of the threads/post directed at specific individuals and even general spouting of topics are inappropriate at best and some are downright hateful. I won't participate. I like to stay positive and think I have a good sense of humor. I can take a joke. Sometimes we push the envelope because of the partial anonymity of the boards but I have no reason to point fingers or stir the pot. What good could possibly come of it? I try to remember there are people connected to the words on the screen, most of which have jobs and families. The most that can be hoped for is that we treat each other with respect. So whether you use the boards for advertising or your own personal litter box, we are all here for a reason. Let's play nice.
