I get that a person wants to be looking their best, especially in a publicly viewed online image. To me, low-key Photoshopping is fine. The model benefits from having minor physical imperfections removed (a bruise, pimple, etc.), and the photographer benefits in adding touches of signature photo effect(s) or filter(s).
I get that the camera just catches a person in the wrong light or pose. Should the provider be made to feel guilty about fixing their flaws? Hell, with the tables turned, if someone takes a picture of me, I secretly hope they artfully Photoshop the shit out of it. I don't see such a big problem with it.
On the other hand, Photoshop can definitely be overdone sometimes. Print media and the slogan of "Image is Everything" has been infamous for Photoshop disasters. But I don't consider Photoshop as the enemy here.

Sir IanFleming…
I have spoken up on this topic MULTIPLE TIMES and I have ALWAYS made a point in saying that I believe that photoshop should be used sparingly... I believe that your photos should be a VERY REAL DEPICTION of what the gentleman will see once you open the door to meet him for the FIRST TIME…
After 2 years as SLAVE GUINEVERE I have never had a gentleman say that I DO NOT look like my photos!! I love my professional photo shoots… as I have said repeatedly they are a lot of FUN!! However, I also use SELFIE'S that I post regularly in my ads and on twitter so that there is an accurate photo of me on the internet at ALL TIMES…
My contention with this topic is that there are ladies who are really lovely who may lack the self confidence to post photos of themselves without a little photoshopping done and I am TIRED of seeing these young ladies criticized for employing it…
I also believe that the photo session is a TWO PART endeavor and that as an artist the photographer should have a right to display his/her work to it's best advantage… When you have two parties of LIKE MINDS then GREAT THINGS can be achieved…
I also believe in being honest at all times and that all things should be upfront in regards to an escorts photos, menu, clientele that she desires to see etc… I sympathize with your plight as a gentleman of color and just know that there are MANY LADIES like myself who cater to men of all races, religions and size…
However, I also support the ladies who have LIMITED menu's and a limited clientele that they want to see… Our seductive world should at all times be playful, fun and welcoming to sexual play of all kinds…
your sincere slave,
Guinevere

i didn't call your photo terrible, i said your photoSHOP was terrible, and it is. don't take it personally. i'm just telling you straight up, as a professional, nobody with ps skills would call that "good".
is it effective at hiding the tattoo? sure, but speaking as a guy who also plays the game, it's one of those things that would be on my "reasons not to call her" list. it's about excellence and professionalism.
like it or not, we all make judgements on small cues, and some potential clients will look at that and think...hmmm....if she'll put herself out there with lack of skill, attention to detail, care for quality....whatever...on that one point, what else might suffer? will she be unclean? will her incall be a pigstye? will she be bad at sex, too?
that's no different than the reasoning the op uses to deny ladies who have altered photos (which i totally agree with). it's human nature.
just to be clear, i'm not saying any of this is true of you, but when the only way your clients can judge you is via what you put on the web, why take a chance, especially when it's so easy to just take a photo that doesn't include your right shoulder?
and since we're on about the tat of your kid's name...nobody knew that until you posted it here. that could've been anybody's name, but now, everybody who's seen you in person and who reads your posts knows the truth, for whatever that matters. i also think it's weird to be so concerned with privacy when your showcase has so many photos with your face in them...including the one that's turned sideways.

I think reading my post would be helpful
I took a quick pic and blurred my tat as an example
I didnt photoshop skin change lighting etc and many people know I have a child I don't hide that if u look again u may notice that I dont think the entire internet should know my childs name. I have no problem with anyone who makes it into my room knowing her name.
Im not quite sure what would give anyone the impression I dont care from that photo im clean the bathroom is clean no clutter etc but again just a quick selfie.
I claimed it was a good example of just blurring out the content of the tat but making it clear there is a large tat.
Btw I do fancy myself an artist and dabble a bit in digital media.... I dont claim to be a pro but I do get compliments often on my showcase because I actually look like my pics lol and they know to expect the large tat.
Again I have no personal privacy concerns I am hiding from nothing I am open about my life and I do, again as a mother its ny decision to not have my childs name in my ad

you do have some cute pics in your showcase. with some work, you could develop that creative talent.

never apologize for your camera. it's your eye that's most important, and you've obviously got some creative instincts.
and don't mind me. i may not sugarcoat things, but i'm sweet when it counts.

I can appreciate providers using photoshop to obfuscate any sort of ink which would be instantly recognizable.
The flip to that is, some hobbyists are into ink, and may be quite disappointed in finding tattoos they were not expecting.

I hate to be off topic, Don't know much about photoshop. Like real pictures of providers. Professional ones like some of Slaves are spectacular, but her selfie are gorgeous too. A lot blur face or don't show face for privacy, same with some body modifications. As long as the provider looks like her pictures, removing bruises shouldn't be an issue. When your drastically change what a provider looks like or hiding major issues then I can see a problem. If you have a lot of tats that will identify you and need to remove, you need to point to it very big in your showcase. If nothing else, take a piece of paper draw a body and point where large tats are take a pic and put that pic in showcase.
Well, my .02 cents,
either this thread is a serious nit picking about a tat, gaining 5 lbs, 2-3 yrs. old than provider said, enlarging breasts in which case, NO COMMENT.
If it's about the ones that use the camera to try and trick hobbyist into coming and seeing them, then it's valid.
1. Don't try to make it look like you have one or two small tats when they cover half your body.
2. Don't use pics from 5 years, 20-30 pounds ago.
3. Don't hide serious changes to your looks.
From what I've seen and read there Hobbyist out there for every shape, size, age, look, you name it.
What pisses hobbyists off is when then their basically lied to, this is all an illusion but you still don't want to think your meeting one person and end up seeing someone totally different.
ps.
Nikki, I'm not really a tat person, glad they don't cover too much of that beautiful skin. I'd love to know where you put that 5 pounds, you look great.
Slave, that is one lucky blue bunny!
