Why not ? There are mirrors in the bathroom and it's quick to get shots with a smart phone.
Also, you know that it ain't phonyshopped until she looks like a marionettte that's been goosed by a popsicle.
On the other hand, some well composed, well lit shots can lend some sensuality to the pics.
Also, there have beemn postings on here by photographers offering their services that get a lot of snarky comments suggesting that, guess what, the providers can do just as well with bathroom shots on their iphone.

I know the title said bathroom pics. What I was thinking of is the crap (in some cases literally) that shows up in the background, including pimps. They can be presentable without being disgusting or in poor taste.

I agree. The bathroom makes sense because that's where the mirror is. And like you, I appreciate that it isn't an over-produced, edited, glamour shot. Even better if she is holding something that shows it is recent ("Visiting KC, 2/17-2/20" is nice).

The other thing I appreciate is that if she has to take the picture herself in the mirror, MAYBE she doesn't have anyone there to take a picture of her. So maybe no pimp. Obviously that's not a sure thing, given the number of male friends that show up in the backgrounds. Still, it is a consideration.

Some of these (not all) are self alert pics and more over they are non plastic surgeon pictures (some do).....I take it that way.

Now that I look closer, are we sure it's a turd and not just some wierd stain in the punch bowl ? There seems to be some other wierd coloration as well.

I agree on both counts. I look at the stuff in the pic, especially the messy room, which tells you a lot about the provider, or at least tells you more than you'd think.

Secondly, its a service industry, and who doesn't like a SMILE. It's a huge turnoff to look at 8 pics of someone looking like they don't want to be taking a pic. If that's a problem, find a new line of work. At least TRY to look sexy. Besides, a smile let's me know you have all your teeth... which is also sexy... lol, or at least a minimum requirement.

read: ducky lips are NOT sexy. meh.

I'm not so concerned about smiling. Sometimes a neutral expression shows their features nicely.
I do however wonder what the appeal is supposed to be of the puckered lips like they just sucked a lemon look that is on so many BP ads.
