Did I do something wrong here?

Not sure if this is the right place for this, but I just wanted to get some general feedback from the board. I am really new to all of this, have only ever seen one provider so far. I explained this to the provider and gave her my height, weight, race, etc. She seemed like she was ok with only the one reference. Below are the PM's that went back and forth between us. I do not want to use the Provider's name because I am new and she is not and really there is no point, I just want to know if I did something wrong? After the last PM, she said "OK 3 it is" sounded to me like we had an appointment. Then I tried to PM her back and ask for the location, directions, etc. and she would not read or answer any of my following PM's. I tried to text and call her listed phone number on her ads but no response either. I am not mad, I am sure she got a better offer or was tired or maybe could not verify my reference, but I wish she would have just told me why. Thanks for any feed back for a newbie.

Basically I PM'ed a provider to ask for an appt. and we sent several PM's back and forth and thought we had set up an appt. Then she stopped reading and responding to my PM's and/or text.

Since I can't put that actual PM messages here, I just wanted to know if this was a fairly normal thing or if I did something wrong?

Sounds like a confirmed session to me. Follow-up question: how old is this provider? If she's between 18-24, the odds of this kind of thing happening are much higher than with older, more mature providers.

According to her showcase she is over 30 that is why it kind of surprised me, I have read some of your posts before along those same lines with the younger providers being hit and miss.

Bummer. Well, as I've also said here, we all live complicated lives. But a follow-up explanation as to why she went dark would be nice, and if she's reading this, can also lead to a satisfied, repeat client. Hint-hint.

sounds like to me, and from my own personal experience something spooked her. Could have been a wrong choice of words, a feeling, or anything of that sort. I have had a few do the same thing because I got a little excited and nervous and probably said something in text that was misconstrued. When establishing new provider relationships I live by a few rules:

keep it simple
keep it relaxed
treat it like a new boss or client in the real world
be forthcoming as you can be in helping establish a positive screening

Once they get to know you and realize what type of personality,then its ok to be more of yourself.

PM's and Texts can easily be taken the wrong way.

I had to learn this the hard way at first.

p411 will alleviate any of the iffy behaviors from providers, at least in my experience. It is pretty much regarded as the "Gold Standard" with provider screening and feeling comfortable with a new client.

I agree..I have only ever had one girl I booked with on P411 cancel on me...it was in advance of the session, she was very apologetic, and our make-up session went for almost double the booked time at no extra charge. Seems that girls who use P411 just have their shit together much more than others.

Sorry for your issues. You have several options, first of which

-- wait a decent interval, at least 48 hours or so, for her explanation -- you have asked her for one, haven't you?

-- after that, if her explanation is acceptable to you, you can post in this thread that you rec'd same and it was acceptable to you.

-- make sure she has been active on the board since the disconnect before you consider further options.

Beyond the above, your options are:

-- do nothing

-- post her handle in this thread so other gents have your data to consider when they make an appointment choice; or,

-- you may reply to another gent's review on this provider (within the 30 day reply limit of course), so the information gets out there.

Be aware, that if this provider has an otherwise stellar reputation, the WKs will certainly respond to any of your posts; additionally, if her reputation is that stellar, other providers may seriously consider your posts about this provider when you ask them for appointments.

Thing is, and while I totally accept your rationale on your limited experience, there are several possible disconnects in which your immediate experience may have been affected:

-- you registered in 2011, but

-- you have a very small number of posts, and

-- only the one review, and that of a really new provider whose vouching ability (and credibility) may be considered as too new for established providers to consider as reliable as they might want.

Moving forward, my counsel is:

-- choose some well established providers for your next venture
-- work with them on a more than "immediate I want to see you tomorrow or today" basis
-- give her/them as much information as they need to make a connection, but stay within your own personal security envelop

Don't stress over this. It happens. If this one does not work out, there are many lovely ladies on this board.
