If it bothers me, it's actually a warning sign that I am getting too attached (oh yeah - I have gone there; twice.) I will say that it seems to bother me less when the provider is married rather than just having a BF, at least if the hubby knows (of course, how do I really know if the hubby knows? No way - I suppose.)

It doesn't bother me one bit. I've gotten to know some ladies I've seen on a friendship level and three were in long time marriages. I watched a hobbyist and provider start as bf/gf and eventually get married. He drove her around the country touring.
While some were in open relationships and swingers, there are husbands and SO's who understand it's simply a job that pays well. Some manage the business and go as far as recruiting others like an agency. If you want to call them pimps, that doesn't always apply, especially if the business was started and the idea of the provider.
It's the SO who claims to be cool with it, but is actually jealous and truly hates sharing her with others. Those are the relationships that don't last. While I was monogamous when in relationships in the past, I believe my thoughts on having a provider as an SO has changed. If we truly had a deep, loving connection and I was the main man in her life, I'd do it, especially if she brought home girlfriends to share, lol..

Why on Earth would you tell any client the truth about your RL relationships unless they were a long-time client/friend? There are some strange people out there.
I've always found it a strange question when a provider asks me if I have an SO or not.
It has nothing to do with the "fantasy" remaining a fantasy, it's just information that isn't necessary for either client or provider to know, IMHO.

Actually, I think there are plenty of reasons when it benefits a provider to know the relationship status of a client. Can't think of many reasons a client needs to know about a provider, though.

Do you not want to know enough about the client to be able to full fill his fantasies? The first time I see a provider we each learn a little about each other. Not her RL name and address but what she enjoys. Rather than what she has on her site that she is willing to do. I want to know how to turn her on enough to make her want to please me. After we have met several times I should not have to tell her what my hot button is. That is what keeps guys coming back.
OOPS I went to your profile and I see that what I wrote above is already what you do. It's to damn bad there are no longer any of the great parties in Houston any more.
